Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stable, durable, works. I've used the Hullraiser for a few years now... including in-town jaunts and several cross-country trips. They're still going strong and have never had a problem with them. The only downsides: not the easiest for tall vehicles (I tried them on a tall SUV once and had to stand on a step stool to lift my boat that high) and a they can be a little tricky if you're small and not very strong (if this is the case, you might consider purchasing a lift assist device or a system that has rollers to assist the process). The foam padding is nice and I feel like it helps grip my kayak. Would be nice if they folded down, but not a big deal on smaller vehicles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Get them! Great racks, and Moosjaw ha the best prices on new ones Got 2 sets of Hullraisers for my 03 Santa Fe. We have two Ocean Kayak Sit on Tops, and couldn't fit saddles witht he wide boats. These racks were super easy to install on my LowRiders and 51 bars. They make loading the boats a breeze, my wife can even load her own boat now. These racks do keep our SOT's a Caper and a Venus pretty close to Vertical and not 45 degrees like we had hoped, so it adds about 3' of heigth to our clearance No parking garages. The towers and fairing give you a limited space to mount the racks, so you are left with either the boats touching up top and the racks way inside making it much tougher to load or the racks on the edges much easier to load, but there

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth getting I have two pair of these that I haul my two 12 foot kayaks. I have had these for about about 3 years and go about 12 times a year. I usually only travel about an hour each way and have never had any problems with the kayaks not staying on. They are easy to load, unload and strap down. I would have gotten a pair where the kayak sits flat but with the car I have and the space needed to do that, it just was not possible to get two kayaks on my car. If you are driving on a windy day and come across a cross breeze you can feel it a bit in the car because they stick up a bit high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CONVIENT! Makes carrying kayaks a WHOLE LOT EASIER!! If you are carrying more than one kayak you will want the hullraisers facing the same directions. We first put them on facing opposite directions. It worked fine for the first kayak but we ran into a problem when trying to strap down the second kayak. We could not reach the middle to wrap the strap through the hullraiser and around the kayak. All it took was a SIMPLE switch in directions and we quickly fixed that problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and easy loading/unloading I've had this system for 2 years now and i love it. I have a 12' kayak i load onto it and it's easy to load. The kayak sits into the rack perfectly without getting caught on anything. It comes with 4 heavy duty straps that you use to synch the kayak down (front, back, 2 middle). System is easy to setup onto your rack and easy to put your kayak on. I replaced the wing nuts the system uses to attach to your rack with regular hex nuts to make it harder to steal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These kayak hull raisers are the best! These Kayak racks are the best out there as far as we are concerned. WE tried some cheaperones and we ended up having to bugee kayak to the rack over and above the tie downs that came with the racks. Also...we had to FUDGE the cheaper brand to fit the top of my SUV. These hullraisers fit MOST car/truck roof racks and are easy to install and for all purposes intended are AWESOME! Great to use with the Wet Cloth to slide kayak unto top of car/SUV as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and easy transport system I have had these for a couple of years now. They have worked well for my 8' creek boat, 9.5' recreational kayak, and for my 12' sit on top kayak. It is just a good and easy transport system for whatever kind of kayak you have. I have never had any problems with stability or structural integrity even when using it to hold more than it was designed to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from gets the jorb done Hullraisers are fairly easy to attach to the rack but will not lay flat on the roof so i end up putting it on and taking it off every time i use the kayaks. I bought two sets for each of my two kayaks and its great for space on top. Also I am only 5 feet tall and its is pretty easy to load with someone else to help.
