"I love my kayaks, and I needed a way to strap them to my car as securely as Clark Griswold can strap a Grandma to the roof of his. That's why I bought a couple of the Yakima Hullraiser Roof Racks. The Hullraisers easily attach to nearly any crossbar in just seconds, and loading and unloading is a cinch with the straps that are included with each rack."

"Does a solid job. Keeps the kayak nice and secure on the Jeep." 06/10/11
I bought this because I was tired of just tying my kayak to the rails on the roof. I wanted something a little more secure. Does an awesome job on the hour drive to and from the river.
"Great kayak rack." 10/03/10
The Hullraiser Aero is a solid cradle for your yak. The bracket is designed to fit round, square and factory bars. I can easily swap if back and forth from the wife's van to my truck. It holds the kayak very well. Construction is top notch.
"I am slit-minded about this product. I don't recomended for everydays use." 06/13/09
Actually the product is working well for its intend, however, puting an heavy kayak in roof of my mini van is not a pleasant experience. If you need once a while to trasport your kayak it does definately work. I am thinking about purchasing a light trailor (around $1000), which makes things easier, if you have trailor hutch.
"If you seek a durable, affordable roof rack system, look no further than this one." 05/29/08
I did a lot of research on roof racks for my two kayaks. This system had the greatest combination of durability and most affordability. Assembly is minimal, it takes only a few minutes to determine what type of roof rack you have and assemble your rack accordingly. Directions are simple. The rack goes up on the roof in 10 minutes the first time you use them, but the second time its even faster. It comes off the roof in two minutes. And when you strap down the kayak, neither the rack nor the boat are going anywhere.
"Buy these...they're easy to use and work really well!" 06/14/07
I bought two sets of these to throw on my Subaru and drive my kayaks across the country. Putting the racks on was really easy...they just screwed onto the factory crossbars and I was set to go in about twenty minutes. The other great thing about these is that they come with just about everything you would need. The racks came with adapters for Thule/Yakima crossbars, along with really high quality straps and tie-downs. The tie-downs even have a great little plastic tube that you can move up and down so that your car is protected from the strap at the contact point. The only other thing I'd mention is that since they're so awesome and so easy to put on, they're also easy to take off. You m
