"This product would be great if you didn't have to buy the crossbar seperately." 04/04/09
I was so excited to finally get some decent weather and was attempting to put my new Yakima hitch rack together so I could take my kayak out. Much to my dismay, it does not come with a cross bar and it does not state that very clearly in the description AT ALL! I have always been a big fan of Moosejaw and their quality products, but I feel misled and frustrated that now I have to order a single crossbar to complete my rack.The rack is useless without the crossbar, so I don't understand why it is not included in the package. The crossbar is shown in the picture and again, since it was not clearly stated otherwise, it is reasonable to expect that one is included in the purchase.
