"Built to Last!" 12/09/11
These racks are bomber! I have used Yakima rack products for over 20 years and can say that they are built to last. High quality and worth every penny. Place a little grease inside they bars and they will not corrode (I had one pair for over 10 years and live on the coast).

My 44" bars have enough space for 2 bicycles to ride comfortably. 2 Kayaks are a bit more of a close call, but still works out fine. I would recommend these for anyone in need of a carrying system.

I got these so I can haul ladders and such on my Chevy Colorado.There aren't a whole lot of options out there for such things unless you want to spend a grand and drill holes in your truck.So I checked out Yakima and there it was, the perfect fit for my needs.Thanks Yakima & Thanks MooseJaw

i would have to say these things are sturdy as a mother sucker! stylish look perfect on my car and im probably the only one in walnut, ca that has these puppies. very reliable and strong. i would buy them again but there will be no need. they will probably last until my grandchildrens grandchildren pass! (i havent had kids yet) haha

This product is amazing! The bars are VERY heavy duty and can support about anything you throw on them. After researching for a while, I settled on Yakima over Thule and have been very happy with my decision. I was a bit concerned about them being round and things not having the grip of the square Thule bars, but after talking to friends with Thule, it seems they are more trouble then you'd expect.
