Yakmia Bow needed them! Love them! Looking foward to paddling into the hottest summer in along time, and part of the winter. May this be the start of many laughs and lots of stories. I will tell the story of how I got started paddling. MooseJaw is the reason why I have the best gear,and I had fun racking points it made me forget I was spending my bills.<BR>That is my brewski and campfire story.

This works well. The hook is a little short, so it is scary the first time you use it because it looks like it will fling off, but it doesn't. It is super easy to use and held tight. There is one strap for the bow and one for the stern in each package. You need a second package for each boat (at least I did, you might try it first, I couldn't get the strap to connect both kayaks).

HAVE PURCHASED THIS ITEM BEFORE AND USED IT. GREAT TOOL. WORTH THE COST RATHER THAN DEALING WITH THE HASTLE OF USING STRING, ROPE, OR WEBBING TO SECURE THE BOW/STERN. <BR>YAKIMA CAN MAKE THIS PRODUCT BETTER BY ADDING TWO 1-FOOT PLASTIC SLEEVES PER LINE RATHER THAN ONE; I ADDED MY OWN TO PROVIDE MORE PROTECTION TO ROPE/VEHICLE WHERE ROPE COMES IN CONTACT WITH VEHICLE. WOULD GIVE THIS PRODUCT A "LOVE IT!" IF THEY ADDED THIS.<BR>HINT FOR STORING BLOCKEDKEYWORD USE A 1-QUART ZIP-TOP CLOSURE PLASTIC FREEZER BAG PER BOW/STERN SET. KEEPS ALL TOGETHER. "FREEZER" TYPE BAG MORE DURABLE THAN "STORAGE" TYPE. DON'T USE TYPE WITH THE ZIPPER DEVICE ON IT; THAT BREAKS AFTER A FEW USES.
