"This is the most cost-effective soultion for multiple yaks!" 05/06/08
Having lost two pick-up trucks, by way of ridding myself of my last boyfriend I found myself suddenly with two 11ft. yaks and no transport to the river. Not good for your psyche - at all! So, I bought a Nissan X-Terra. Next step, find a kayak rack that does not cost more than the new truck payment! Yakima Big Stack fits the bill. It's way less expensive than both the J style racks and the roller/saddle combos, and it allows you to transport up to 4 kayaks using only one rack set-up.
