"Leave this on your car all winter"  06/19/11

I live in Minnesota and downhill and cross country ski regularly during our extended winter. This rack installs easily on our Subaru roof rack. It holds both down hill and cross country skis securely, even both at the same time without any rattling. It tightens down easily and flexibly depending on ski thickness and number. Since it is on top of the car and at the end of the day you tend to be tired and it may be dark, make sure you remember to latch it. You won't forget to close the door, but take it from me it is possible to forget that last step.
