YETI Fatwall Design YETI Fatwall Design infuses YETI’s PermaFrost technology into their thick cooler walls and offers up to two inches of ice retention, which equates to superior insulation. This isn’t your mom’s styrofoam cooler, which means it can handle dry ice’s -109F temperatures.
YETI Roto-Molded Construction
YETI’s Roto-Molded Construction, means one seamless piece of polyethylene you can do just about anything to - from standing to punching. The non-skid lid texture means your feet won’t slip when it’s your turn to karaoke.
YETI Coldlock Gasket YETI Coldlock Gasket seals in the cold and combats heat, by using freezer-quality gasket circles. This means YETI goes beyond closing, sealing up your frosty mugs for hours. A molded-in channel creates a home for the EPDM rubber gasket and is pressed against the body of the cooler to decrease air exchange and lock in the coolness.

2nd YETI in monthThis is the second in a month; needed larger capacity. Great overall construction. Quality.
Really helps to pre-cool units. We have both on large boat being opened frequently and BLOCK of ice a necessity to slow melt process which, if cubed, is two days. With BLOCK 4 to 5.
Because of weight of unit once after ice has melted and beverages etc are consumed, ordered hose adapter for both. Only issue is when removing the cap, which is generally pretty tight, the entire adapter loosens and leaks water. Solved by putting on a hose ball valve which can be held while removing the cap. The ball valve can be closed when removing cap and hooking up hose - solves water leak issue.

Where I go my Yeti follows! This is an incredible life accessory. I have had this for the past year and 90% of the time it has lived locked in the bed of my pick-up filled with ice. It's my portable fridge. I've used it non-stop for everything I can think of beer, deer, ducks, quail, pheasant, turkey, fish, oysters, clams, crabs and just keeping groceries cold while my old lady takes eons to complete the errands. The only negative thing is that I now feel the need to own one a little smaller. Only because I know how awesome it would be. The rest of y'all can keep the cheap coolers because I'm not interested in them anymore.

I like the taller footprintBought this for my own Fathers Day gift and it's lived up to the hype. We've had Yeti Chronicles on my FB page as it has been on a fishing trip on an Island in the Gulf of Mexico for three days and no additional ice required with no AC and on the hottest days of the summer so far the 105 produced well. We also took it from Texas on a road trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota for 8 days and only added ice once on the trip. Follow the directions and it's a work horse. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that bugger gets real heavy when loaded and needs two guys to move it around much.

Lovin' my Tundra 105!Recently purchased the Tundra 105 for it's dimensions, which fit comfortably in the back of my smaller SUV and it has 14"+ interior height so you can stand wine and champagne bottles upright for the ladies. Used the cooler this past weekend for a 24 hour overnight fishing trip 120 miles offshore south of Martha's Vineyard and it was the only cooler that DIDN'T MOVE or slide, thanks to the well engineered design and rubber feet. The cooler worked perfectly, served as a great seat while serving cold drinks and dry sandwiches. We finished the trip with several Bluefin tuna and Mahi which tasted delicious after a long day of fishing. I am looking forward to our next trip...my Tundra and me!

Costly, but WELL WORTH every penny!I bought the 105 Tundra a month ago, and I have yet to use it. However, I have examined it closely and find it to be of the HIGHEST QUALITY. I am certain that the countless reviews and trials I have read and seen are accurate. Make no mistake, this cooler is a beast of a cooler. I also have a Tundra 45 that is what most would consider a normal large cooler. The 105 has a gigantic capacity, and the 45 has what I'd consider to be a very substantial capacity. Both are superb in terms of quality. If you really care about preserving your ice on an extended outing (even 3 or 4 days), nothing will work as well as a Yeti...no question about it. The cost means little when you consider the convenience.

Best Cooler Ever!I pack this cooler to the brim with vacuum sealed meats, fish, and lobster for a 7 day camping trip. I placed two 20lb. bags of cubed ice at the bottom and spread another 20 or 30lbs. throughout.
I left the cooler in the back of my truck for another 7 days after returning home just to see how long the ice would last (14 days total with no added ice).
After 7 days in a campsite "bear box" (35 to 75deg.) and another 7 days in a hot truck top shell (75 to 100+deg.) there were chunks of ice present and the water was ice cold.
Note: Unless using on a boat the optional sliding feet are a MUST!

A Heavy BeastMy wife bought the 105 for Father's Day last year. It is heavy empty. It takes 2 people to lift a full cooler into the back of my truck, but it's also a big cooler. I have a 100-qt Igloo that, when full, is almost equally as heavy. The 105 works great. It holds ice for days. When I first used it, I was disappointed to find it full of water the next day. When I got home, I drained it only to find it was full of ice under that water. I have taken it primarily hunting and keep it in the truck bed. Love this cooler. So much so I just bought a Tundra 45. Can't wait to use it this weekend.

CPA - CHEAPEST PERSON ALIVEI looked at this cooler for over a year before I made my purchase. I am a CPA and am considered very frugal by my friends. I ordered the cooler directly from Yeti and was a very smooth and simple process. I know this is a lot of money for a cooler....but this was the best money that I spent in a long time for a product. The cooler is amazing and in my opinion, extremely high quality! Don't be like me a wait a year before you buy this cooler. Buy it now and you will not have any regrets!
