The YETI Hopper 40 Cooler is a soft sided cooler that is ready to carry a larger load. Turning it up a notch in the capacity category, this soft cooler can carry up to 36 cans of drink and ice (2:1 can to ice ratio). Or perhaps you're bringing some food along, it'll hold onto that too. Although soft, it's still incredibly durable, with 1.5 inches of insulation to keep ice happy, without banging up your side as you carry it through the woods or down to the beach. There are long handles for side carry, short grab handles for front or two-person carry and a removable shoulder strap for slinging onto your side or messenger-style. The Hydrolok™ zipper isn't just to keep your stuff from falling out, it's leakproof! Just keep it closed to help the drinks stay cold.

How long does it hold ice
Asked by: Skrwft
Thanks for reaching out to us! While the specifics of the situation may vary, (the amount of ice, the amount of beer, outside temperature, etc) I have spoken to several customers who have said that they have put ice in the Hopper and more than 24 hours later, there was still ice there!! No doubt, this was due to the Hydrolok zipper and the Coldcell Insulation. While I wouldn't put too much stock in ice staying over 48 hours, for one day you should be fine. Hope this helped you out!
