The YETI Hopper 20 Cooler is a soft cooler for keeping drinks cold, without leaving itself open to leaks or punctures. Don't let the word soft confuse you, this is one crazy tough cooler, built to go on trips into nature, keeping your drinks and food cold. The personal size is just enough to fit 18 cans of beer or soda, or a mix of the two, plus ice. The Coldcell™ insulation surrounds the ice to keep it cold while the sturdy handles make it easy to drag out into the wilderness, or from tailgate to tailgate. The Dryhide™ shell stays strong, deterring sticks and rocks from puncturing the cooler. Zip it shut with the Hydrolok™ zipper and get on your way. When you arrive at your destination, the wide, EVA foam bottom will stand up straight so you can grab a cold one and relax.

Deer camp savior!I bought my first yeti Product the hopper 30 and it has been the best cooler I've ever taken to deer camp. I put 18 beers inside and a ton of ice and it lasted for 3 days and still had icy water cold enough to add more beer and turn the mountains blue. Nothing like waking up to an ice cold beer! (P.S) For all the reviews that say, "its hard to get stuff in" Or "its to stiff", clearly didn't read the info yeti provided. It states in the packet you received when you bought your yeti, that the Materials need time to be broken in(because the quality of the material is so good). It gets easier every time, I promise you. Good day Y'all!

Perfect Dock and Beach Cat. CoolerI received this cooler as a gift 14 months ago. When new it was hard to open and use, but the tag said use woudl fix this problem. It did. It is easy to throw over the shoulder and carry down to the dock with a case of drinks. Now after 100's of beers have passed through it's opening it is easy to use, but it still obeys the laws of thermodynamics- if you take a case of beer out of it one at time over three hours the ice will melt. For ice preservation it is not in the class of my Yeti 45, but it is a league of it's own when tied on the trampoline of a beach catamaran. Use it for the day, but use it hard and often.

High quality, great ice retention, versatile.I have used my Hopper 30 for several camping and fishing trips. So far it has been great with 3-5 days ice retention depending on if people remember to close the zipper all the way. I will say that when this cooler is loaded down with ice and drinks it is not as portable as the commercials make it seem. I walked with this thing over a mile and it was extremely difficult. Its gotta be over 50 pounds and if your not a body builder it will be tough toting this thing full anywhere over a quarter mile. If you are going to be packing your cooler full and then walking any distance you may want to consider the Hopper 20.

Harley Road Trip Buddy!Yeti,
I wanted to let you all know how great it was to finally have a cold drink at will on a Road Trip. WI this weekend was in the upper 80's and driving up north to the camper used to require at least several stops for cold drinks...Until we bought the Hopper 20 to add to the "Must take gear" on these rides.
The perfect size to strap to the back of the bike, holds way more drinks than we would could use on a weekend run (not complaining here) and keeps them cold all day into the night without any problems.
Many thanks, guys. From someone who appreciates "Over Engineering" over "Multiple Purchases" of lesser quality items.

A marvel of quality and designI purchased the hopper after seeing it in a surf shop in Huntington Beach , than a day later I was given a 30 oz tumbler in San Fran was like the gods were demanding I get one So I did im struck by the quality and how well it works First off anyone that's used and soft cooler either gets leaked on or sweated on resulting in being soaked If that weren't bad Enuff more often than not your slushing around a swimming pool of Luke warm water and anything but a can of whatever is destroyed. None of this with the yeti , not wet, stuff perfect as it went in with exception of its colder. Only suck is everyone drinks your cold beer. Hah the drama of a Yeti

treatment optionsHello, You are missing your mark by only marketing to outdoors people. My husband just finished grueling cancer treatment and the Yeti Hopper made it so much better. He went daily for hours. We took snacks, drinks and medication in the Hopper. Left it all in the car during the heat of the day. When I would retrieve anything it was the perfect temperature.
Also, we would leave our Yeti tumblers full of ice water in that same hot car so that we had something to look forward to after treatments. So nice to still have ice in the water.
Thanks for being there for us.

DISAPPOINTINGI was excited about getting this gift for Christmas as I am a beach bum so was ready for the Florida summer. I was very disappointed first with the zipper. The zipper should go end to end of the bag so the opening can be wider. I struggle loading my bag because it really doesn't open up wide enough. Secondly, my first use of the bag was spent on the beach in April. Not really that hot in Florida in April. My ice was melted within 3 hours of being on the beach. I had it under my umbrella and had a towel over it and the ice still melted. I have used it 2 other times since, but not really liking the bag mainly due to the zipper.

Good and BadI have several Yeti products and have been extremely happy with those so when I saw the smaller cooler I was excited. After taking it to the pool and the beach a few times I was a little disappointed . I usually take drinks, fruit and other snacks. The small opening with the zipper makes this difficult. Also the zipper tends to be a little rough on your hands and hard to open. Also I noticed that the ice melts a lot faster if I do not include my Yeti ice pack. Now for the good...I love how it does not sweat or leak. It keeps ice (with the ice pack) longer. Over all it is ok but I am not sure I would have purchase it again. I would rather have invested in additional cups they are great!
