I'm 5'5" and it's long enoughI'm a 5'5", 135lb adult female, short legs, long torso. This bag is long/big enough for me- when I lie in it straight with the top pullcord loose, it comes up to my nose. If I pull the neck pullcord snug, it easily comes to the bottom of my chin, and I can even stretch my toes out straight (but that's tight). It's wide enough that I can sleep on my side with one knee pulled up perpendicular to the rest of me (but not two knees). Can't do that in a mummy bag.,,Two zipper ends, so you can air out your feet (or, put the bag on up-side-down with your head sticking out the foot end and no armholes, to warm up in the daytime- I tried it, it fits, and I can sit or walk around). Good bag.

Perfect kids bagI got this bag for my 11 year old son who backpacks with his boy scout troop. He's small for his age so the largest backpack he can currently carry is a 40L backpack and weight is a big issue. His synthetic bag takes up too much of the pack volume. This bag compresses small and fits him better than a full size sleeping bag which keeps him warmer. His camping and backpacking trips are usually in Southern California so worrying about the bag getting wet is not a concern on most trips. He wouldn't bring this on a snow camping trip or any trip where it has a good chance of getting wet. He knows he needs to keep it dry, but he'd probably bring the synthetic in that case. Since buying this bag he's used it on 100% of his troop camping and backpacking trips and he loves it.

Durable, warm and versatile!I have now owned my WM Tamarak for 5 years. I am only 5 ft tall, so this is a bag that feels tailored just for me. I can close the drawstring top over my head and poke my nose out to breathe if I need to. I slept in this bag for 5 and a half months while thru-hiking the AT in '09. It definitely needed a good wash post Katahdin, but after that it was practically new. I have since continued to use it on every camping/couch surfing situation I find myself in. It is decidedly loosing a bit of loft by this point, but I just recently slept in it on a 25 degree night with a merino base layer and was quite warm enough. I usually wear a warm hat in lieu of a hood.,,My favorite feature is the full zipper. Like Emily pointed out above it allows for great venting in the summer (or for "intimate" access), along with a variety of wearable garment arrangements.,,Minimum temp used 8 F wearing merino base layer and a thin synthetic insulated jacket.,,BEST SLEEPING BAG EVER!
