Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Bag, Light and Cozy warm! Super lightweight and compact, the down lofts up really nice. Will be using this bag soon, will update if I find any downsides to this bag. I own other bags ( Mont-bell and Kelty) but this one appears to be worth the extra money. ,,,,Craftsmanship through and through right down to the really nice storage sack and compression sack, Western Mountaineering makes a quality bag!!,,,,Oh and MOOSEJAW ROCKS!! Placed my order Wednesday night and it arrived by Friday Mid-day. I paid for overnight, but sometimes it doesnt alway work out. Moosejaw processed my order so fast!! ,,,,Top-rate service all away around, Money well spent!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm. Cosy. Snug. I've just taken this out for a few days winter camping in Australia. Temperatures dropped to 0 overnight and I decided to sleep in my thermals. The sleeping bag was brilliant, kept me cosy and warm and I actually got overheated and had to take my thermals off, so warmth not a problem.,,I was a little worried that I would feel restricted as I'm not used to a mummy style bag, but it was fine, plenty of room for my legs and I didn't feel cramped at all. I'm about 5'8" and I got the 6' bag.,,Loved the packed size, so small and light, and it's great that it comes with a large bag to keep it in when it's at home to help the lofting stay lofted.,,Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect bag for backpacking I have owned this bag for approximately 2 years and had my mom and my husband buy it as well, because it is great! ,,It is super light weight, packs really small and it is soooo soft that I sometimes sleep with it even when I am not backpacking. ,,,,Some people find this bag a little tight fitted, so if you have very wide shoulders or need more space this might not be for you, but if value low weight, good quality, and small package site, then this is definitely the bag. ,,,,Western Mountaineering is in my opinion a solid brand. I also own their Apache and have used both of them extensively, but they still feel brand new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bag!! It feels like a custom fit. The WM Summerlite is a great sleeping bag!! This bag is great for someone who doesn't mind being a little constricted (i am 5'10 and 180lbs.). I like the bag to turn with me when I turn in my sleep and this bag does just that. The zippers do not snag (I open it from the inside and out numerous times). The velcro at the top of the zipper keeps the zipper from freezing my face (yes I was outside in the cold Alaska wind) and the velcro didn't rub either!! My package arrived in great shape and it excellent time. I like the free goodies from Moosejaw and I won't tell you :) because you will be pleasantly surprised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Cent Looked at budget bags to replace the old sub-zero beast. Sub-$200 bag issues drove me to open the wallet. Consensus is this is a great bag. Not only well loved, but made in San Jose, California, USA.,,,,Tried at home, fit great, no problems. Took on 2 night camping trip. 1st in a shaded, humid chasm, night temps in the 40's (F) No problems, snug as a bug. Roomy for my 6'2" frame and warm and fluffy.,,,,2nd night on a dry, open plain, morning temp 34 (F), still warm and toasty. A marvelous bag. Packs in a jiffy, unpacks and fluffs up in seconds. Can't wait for the back country or hike the Canyon with this baby.,,,,Pro: Light, simple, compressible, warm.,,,,Con: Nothing yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy This Bag Bought this bag for a successful sumit on Longs Peak (14,259 ft) in Rocky Mt Nat Park. First of all this bag is unbelievably light (21 Oz with stuff sack), it also is very small packed down (little larger then Nagene bottle), and it is very warm (stayed comfortable camping at 12,700 ft / 35 degrees in light base layer). Used it on the whole 7 day trip and was floating on cloud 9 the whole time, the only grip I would have is it is tighter then my other WM bag around the chest, but I knew this when i bought the bag and it is a fair trade off for how light it is. I would definetly buy this bag again i also have a WM Versalight bag and can testify that WM makes top quality items.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light and warm I've been using this bag all summer, and so far I love it. Paired with a silk liner, I've been comfy down to 18 degrees. Without the liner, I'd say the comfort rating of 30 is pretty good. I wouldn't want to be without a liner much below that. The bag packs well, the loft is superb, and the shell is very water repellent. My only gripe is that, when it arrived, there were two threads pulling out from one of the baffles, and I've noticed several ~1mm holes in the fabric. I use a groundsheet and foam pad, and I take excellent care of storing it properly and avoiding snags on the zipper, so I'm not entirely sure where they came from. Not something you want to see on a $300 bag though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sleeping bag -- everything I expected and more! Bought this bag as part of my overall gear upgrade for a 5-day hike in Idaho’s White Cloud Mountains. This purchase alone helped shave 3+ lbs. off my load! The bag was super comfy and packs down incredibly small. I stayed toasty-warm when it sleeted one night & was definitely below 32F (incl. silk bag liner). Quality of materials & construction are exactly what you would expect from Western Mountaineering. I kept hoping to find some crazy-cheap deal on this bag, but after using it for 4 nights on this 36-mile loop hike, I don't regret the investment one bit. Highly recommended!! When it comes time to purchase a true winter bag, I will consider another Western Mountaineering bag first.
