The Western Mountaineering Sequoia Gore Windstopper Sleeping Bag is a water resistant sleeping bag for adventures that dip down to 5°F at night. Plenty spacious when zipped inside the bag, but it also has the ability to zip to other sleeping bags as well as unzip completely to lay flat like a blanket. Continuous baffles secure the 850+ fill power down in a 7" loft for cozy warmth. Strong the like trees it is named after, the exterior shell has been constructed with GORE® Windstopper™ fabric, providing water resistance in wet conditions so your bag stays drier.

Bullet proof construction. If you want a winter bag with plenty of room this bag is for you.I used this bag four times in the winter of 2010-2011 and am looking forward to using it in the winter of 2011-2012. I never zipped it up and did not use a tent. When unzipped this bag is almost the size of a full size quilt. One night the temp got down to five below zero! Frozen condensation in my air hole was the only difficulty, but the Sequoia quickly dried out in the sun the next day.,,,,I am 5' 10" 220 lbs. When I first got this bag I climbed into it to test the "shoulder space". I can roll around inside this bag! One consideration is that when WM says its a six foot bag, its a six foot bag, if I were any taller I would want the 6' 6" sized bag.
