Big and Lovable but watch the zipperI was looking for an all around winter bag that didn't weigh too much. The Western Mountaineering Lynx was a good fit for both. I took it from the Olympic Peninsula to Joshua Tree and it held up like a champ. In the wet and dreary near Portland, the outer shell protected me from some pretty moist mornings. In the high dry frosty desert I slept like rock even with the Coyotes licking my ear.,,The one downer for the bag, as with most bags, is you have to watch that pesky zipper. The 3rd time I used it I ripped a nice hole in the side of the exterior baffle. Sweet! ,,Overall, a great warm light bag.

Light, Packable, Comfy, Super Warm!Great bag for winter camping and cold shoulder-season nights. I have had this bag for 9 months but the best test for it came last night. I live in Colorado and knewit wa going to ba another cold night. I wanted to test it in documented temps by the hour so I slept outside at my house. It got down to 0 F. I got in the bag at 3 F with wool thermals and a light weight hoodie. I was too hot and had to ditch the hoodie. I did put a hot water bottle at my feet. After that, I did not even get close to being cold except for parts of my face that were exposed. Like cold camping... get this bag.

A great bag for somebody who wants something a little extra. Price vs need-your decision.Bought this item about two months ago from Moosejaw and used it a total of 7 nights camping. Temperature only got down too 30 degrees F.. The bag was soft and cozy and slept in my shorts.Got warm so I just opened it up and cooled off until I was comfortable. The bag lived up to everything I hoped it would. Boy did it ever fluff up.
