Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect down-to-zero bag. Roomy, well-made, as advertised, a company that understands us. This is the bag that sold me on Western Mountaineering. On a cold Carolina weekend, my son and I (also using an Antelope MF) climbed in our bags and slept into the 5 degree night. The next morning we had each overheated in our bags and had to unzip in the middle of the night. The next morning snow was on the ground outside our tent, and the moisture from our breathing had fallen white across our bags. We were also using Design Salt silk cocoon liners. This thing repels water nicely. When your adventure will only take you toward zero at the worst, grab this bag and never look back. Roomy, warm, no zipper issues on a WM bag, this thing rockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best deal all around After months of research on sleeping bags I came to the conclusion that my best bet would be the Marmot Plasma 15. I received it in the mail from REI, immediately disappointed. I ordered this bag and once I got it was immediately impressed! I compared the two bags side by side. The draft collar and the zipper draft tube where more than double the size of the Plasma's. The loft is exceptional and the material is very soft and comfortable. The Marmot's was almost sticky feeling. The zipper on the WM hardly ever snags because of the strong material around it. For being a 5 degree bag is exceptionally light weight. I have the 6'6" and it packs down into my marmots stuff sack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You only need two things- Antelope bag and my knife! 15 years ago, I did my homework over a period of months searching and studying sleeping bags. The Antelope rose to the top of the list. I'm still in awe after 15 years. Other bags made the top five -more money, or components came from over seas and the quality control wasn't there. This is a good ol USA company and they jump at the chance for service for whatever you'll need. I love crawling in this comfortable bag end the day. I've been comfortable in a wide range of temps. 70 to -10. Yep, -10 no tent and slept great. Zip it up tight and block out all the morning light. Zipper never has malfunctioned and zips from both ends. ,,Dt,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality bag that won't let you down. I've owned my WM Antelope for quite some time (5+ years), it's an awesome bag.The bag is nice and roomy. The shell stands up to a lot; I've taken it on long trips and slept on a shorty mat so the bag got kinda dirty, wipe it off and it's good to keep on truckin'. The continuous baffles are nice because you can move the down from top to bottom, the idea being that in the summer you push a lot of down to the bottom and in the later seasons you push it to the top. This bag is rated at 5F but it's capable of a bit lower temps. WM is conservative with their temperature ratings. It is pricey though, but look at it this way, buy a quality bag once and skip the buying a bag every few years thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best ...and then some! Western Mountaineering is legendary for its sleeping bags - this one is no exception. The down is Eastern European down and makes the bags super warm. Western Mountaineering rises above the mass market bags with gourmet touches like the baffle design, snag-proof zippers, and the MF fabric. The baffles keep you super warm. And when you are wiped out after a long day of being active, who wants to deal with a fussy zipper? The MF fabric will keep a little moisture from wetting the down while allowing your perspiration to escape. Also although they do not make a women's model, they do make 3 sizes so everyone can get a good fit. You CANNOT go wrong with this bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This bag rocks, seriously I'm typically a very cold sleeper, and have shivered for years in so called "0 degree" bags. Even though this is a 5 degree bag, I've never been cold in it! I've woken up with frosty eyelashes and been toasty everywhere else. Long story short, this is the best sleeping bag I've ever owned. Arguably, its the best piece of gear I've ever owned, my boyfriend agrees. He has the same bag and we zip ours together. (pro tip: if you plan to to this, one of you needs to get the left zip otherwise you will have to become a stomach sleeper- gross)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Western Mountaineering is the only way to Go!! I have taken this bag to CO multiple times, winter camping in AR (16deg F) , and even Kilimanjaro. It was warmer than I could ever need.,,It has many features including a multi-draw face area that can tighten right down to your nose if needed, packable down to a very small size in stuff sack, and extremely light in your pack.,,,,Bottomline, make the jump to Western Mountaineering....you won't be sad, and you will get to slap that illusive WM sticker on your car/bottle, or mirror. Plus chicks love to cuddle in a bag like this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest sleeping bag ever? Perhaps.... I've only used this bag a handful of times so far, but it has worked amazingly so far. Seriously, the warmth on this thing is unbelievable. You are supposed to be able to shift the down around to the bottom when you don't need as much warmth - this is something I have yet to try, although I should have. I was overly hot in temps down to 35 degrees. This thing will certainly hold up in temps down to zero.
