The Westcomb Men’s Specter LT Hoody is a hard shell for blocking rain on hike after hike. The eVent fabric is extremely lightweight for those counting grams and can be jammed into your front pouch for at-the-ready use when the skies open unexpectedly. The fixed hood adjusts at three points and is helmet-compatible. When the jacket is zipped all the way, you can tuck your face and chin into the velour-lined collar for non-chafing protection from wind and sideways-rain. Velcro at the cuffs wrap the fabric closer around your wrists to shut out drafts and rain. Sideways-rain is the worst.
Products on Sale are Discontinued Styles or Colors.

WESTCOMB MEASUREMENT GUIDE
How to Measure
To get the most accurate measurement, use a flexible measuring tape and refer to the measuring guide info below.
1. CHEST - Measurement should be taken around the fullest part, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
2. WAIST - Measure loosely around waist above or around belly button.
3. HIP - Stand, feet together, and measure around the fullest part of the seat.
4. INSEAM - Measure from crotch to the floor.
5. SLEEVE - With elbow bent, measure from center back of neck to back elbow and down to outside wrist bone.
Rated 5 out of
Westcomb delivers again. This jacket is extremely packable and light. It's kept me dry in downpours in Italy this past month, without making me overly damp from sweat. I also have the Westcomb Apoc which breathes noticably better with the Polartech Neoshell, but when I'm pressed for space and trying to keep the weight as minimal as possible (which I often am), this is my go to rain jacket. For those who know the Apoc, it packs about 30% bigger and heavier, but the breathability of that jacket is phenomonal. All in all, the Specter is a really light, highly durable and packable jacket, while keeping with the style that I always look for in a high quality rain jacket. Definitely recommend this gear.
