WESTCOMB MEASUREMENT GUIDE
How to Measure
To get the most accurate measurement, use a flexible measuring tape and refer to the measuring guide info below.
1. CHEST - Measurement should be taken around the fullest part, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
2. WAIST - Measure loosely around waist above or around belly button.
3. HIP - Stand, feet together, and measure around the fullest part of the seat.
4. INSEAM - Measure from crotch to the floor.
5. SLEEVE - With elbow bent, measure from center back of neck to back elbow and down to outside wrist bone.

Highly Recommended!!!For me, the jacket is nearly perfect. I purchased a medium (32 in waist, 40 in chest, 170 lbs., 5’11”). The fit is great for layering; I can wear a baselayer, R1 fleece, and 60g Primaloft under it comfortably. Relative to other jackets of this genre, the Shift is not as restrictive in the chest, armpit, or bicep areas. It is plenty long. I hate when jackets are too short. It is very minimalistic (only a chest pocket). It is lightweight but tough. I haven’t had a chance to wear it in a downpour, but waterproofness has held up nicely in a steady rain. The fabric is really soft and not too noisy. The hood is awesome; it will accommodate a helmet without being too big. I really can’t think of anything I would change except for the color selection. I will be purchasing more Westcomb products in the future! Oh yeah, it’s made in North America!

sweet jacketjust wanted to let everyone know how awesome this jacket really is !,,This is a true 3 season jacket, anything you would ever need for adventuring outside. I carry this jacket where ever i go, especially being in the Colorado Rockies, you never know what the weather going to be like. As soon as you put on the jacket you realize how light the item really is, It's amazing how light but durable this jacket can be. I find this soft shell perfect for skiing, just layer it with a base layer and your all set to go. The breath ability of this jacket is also one of the best features. whether I'm hiking a mountain or skiing off one, I can always count that I will be comfortable and dry. I would recommend this jacket to anyone that's looking for a true 4 season jacket. I wear it all the time as a rain coat when I'm fly fishing. This soft shell is a must for any serious adventurer!!
