"Great shoe but too loose to run in with out the liner for me."

I bought these shoes with the anticipation that I could wear them without the liner in the summer and with the liner in the winter. However, for me, the shoe is just too loose to run without the liner. I get fewer blisters running barefoot on concrete sidewalks. The do fit perfect with the liner in and the liner is kind of cool to wear by itself as a slipper as mentioned by another reviewer. Who knows, maybe I'll cut off the elastic laces and replace them with regular laces so I can pull them tighter and see if that helps.

The ground feel in these is excellent. The included removable liner and removable tongue make this shoe very versatile. While I prefer putting the MINIMAL back into MINIMAList footwear and took out the liner and do not use the removable tongue either, you certainly have that option for a custom fit and look. The liner has a soft pliable plastic bottom to it, and I have taken to wearing them more as slippers around the house in the winter. If it is too cold out, just pop the removable liner in for added insulation. For running, I found the liner does slide around more than I would like even though it is anchored to the front and heel of the shoe.

I bought these shoes because they were on sale. BEST decision I've made. I wear them all the time. perfect for tootin around town and then if you want go camping they are great for that. They pack extremely well and are super light so they are a perfect pair of back up shoes for a weekend at the lake or a summer camping trip. cant wait to buy another pair
I bought these shoes in black and yellow in a size 11 (my Nike Frees are 11.5), not knowing how well they would fit. Without the liner, they are quite roomy but not too loose. With the liner, they fit perfectly, and I can even wear a sock under them for extra warmth. I have done a couple of runs in them with the liners in, and except for the fact that I can run over gravel, I forget that I even have shoes on. They are that light. If you're considering these shoes, go for it! You won't be disappointed.
