"A great choice for a all round shoe." 08/09/11
This shoe has a great barefoot feel, yet the sole protects from sharp rocks along the road. The Evo also is good for trails, feels like a cross country shoe. Plus the black/red combo is sharp looking for casual wear. The only other shoe that compares as far as running is the Softstar RunAmoc.
"2 is better than 1" 06/30/11
Originally purchased for a lightweight pair a shoes after longs days on the trail. They definitely fit the bill for that. Their light enough to take backpacking as well...well maybe depending on how much of an ounce counter you are. (15.3oz w/out insoles, 17.3oz with insoles / pr).Comfort: I can't say enough. These hug your feet. I have trouble wearing anything else now. Just think comfortable, agile feet. They do tend to get a little warm from underneath when the temps start to get close to triple digits. Then again there isn't much insulation to shield the heat under your feet, right. (About 4mm)True to size but size down. My feet: Wide with a low arch.
"schwing!" 03/15/11
I've been running in my 5 fingers for a couple years, but wearing them in casual situations is kind of weird. These look like normal shoes, but feel like a second skin. Very cool for running or just running errands.
