Rated 4 out of 5 by from Make You a Faster Runner I just started running in my new Bikilas, and I never got the pain that most avid Vibram users note in their reviews. Maybe I already had good running habits. I do have asthma, so I don't usually last very long running full speed. I took my dog for a 5-mile run today, and by the end I had to stop because I wore her out so badly! She is a Border Collie/German Shephard mix who should be able to outrun me any day of the week. The only reason I dock these shoes a point is because I also have a pair of KSOs, and they are so much more breathable that I'd rather wear them, even though these are specifically made for running. I love them either way though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe! Takes a bit to break in. This is a fantastic shoe for someone who is looking to wear them casually, with some outdoors activity. I am actually a guy and I bought these because none of the men's Vibrams came in my size in a style that I liked and I figure they're pretty unisex anyway, so I got the black and grey ones and they are very stylish. I cant tell you how much Im enjoying these shoes, I wore them to go hiking/swimming at the river the other day and they stayed tight and comfortable the entire time. My only complaint is that they took several days to break in and in those days my feet hurt pretty bad. All in all I would recommend these in a heart beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these like an insane amount They're actually not that hard to get on (unlike the ones that were too small and I had to Cinderella them on) and while they're warm they aren't all sweaty or anything. ,,,,I really like the blue ones pictured and if I'd have seen those I would have gotten them. Mine are black, gray and yellow which is okay but they're kind of matchy-matchy with the husband which was so totally not on purpose but silly looking anyway. I wear them for everyday use and for recreational running. ,,,,The only bad thing I have to say about them is that I can't go out while wearing them without someone stopping me to comment or ask me questions :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am 66 yrs old and if I run something is chasing me. I bought my first pair of Five Fingers on recommendation of a friend. I read the reviews and the instructions on the website. I was having problems walking in regular shoes, if the ground was uneven I couldn't feel the difference and tripped a lot. Hey at my age a twisted ankle is bad news. Once I got used to the Bikilas feel on the ground I noticed I wasn't having a bit of trouble walking.,,Some days I make jokes about walking like a duck, because I can spread my toes out to feel the terrain. I own three pair of Five Fingers now and only wear something else when I have to, like when riding my motorcycle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my second pair, I'm addicted! I love, love, love Vibrams. This is my second pair after I had to finally retire my first pair( after four long years of use) I will NEVER go back to traditional running shoes. Yes, they do take a while to get used to, yes they do feel awkward at first, but after the first week or so it's the most comfortable shoes you'll ever wear. I have bad knees and can't run in traditional shoes anymore, but with the five fingers my knees do not bother me at all. Make sure you get sized at a store as the vibrams fit differently (European sizes) and try on several models to see which you prefer, but Moosejaw is the place to order from!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best of the vibram line For a while I thought it was going to be impossible to find a solid fit in these 'barefoot' shoes, even after reading the website recommendations, I was between sizes and have a very narrow , but long foot with 'monkey toes'. I tried the kso's, and the classics, but nothing compares to the comfort of these. I got a size 39, and Im generally in the women's 8 size range. I thought they might be clunky-er than the classics due more of a sneaker look, but they are light and flexible. I also invested in these because of wide range and diversity of activities these can be used for, aka they seemed the most versatile. Cant wait to go hiking in these, but for now will wear them on my runs !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny and then some!! I'm a guy and generally wear 10.5 or 11 size Asics running shoes. I read other reviews and even Vibram's sizing guide that says it's perfectly fine for a dude to go with a women's size. I didn't want my feet slopping around in a 1/2" larger men's model so I went with the size 40, Women's Bikala LS. My feet fit perfectly & my toes are comfortable in the toe pockets. I called Vibram’s CS line to inquire about the fit. The rep stated the material will loosen up as it’s worn. I wore them around the house and yard for about a week before taking them out. Your feet will be sore from pounding on pavement but I was forewarned. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase! Thanks Moosejaw!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lightwight Running Shoe! This is a fantastic running shoe for those seeking a lightweight option. Although it takes a few weeks to adjust (for those new to Vibram), each future pair can be worn directly out of the box without breaking them in. The lacing system (LS) makes it easy to put on and take off the shoes. They are true to size - I'm typically a 9.5/10 and I wear a 41 in Vibrams. I prefer the Bikila over the KMD Sport for road running as I'm able to get in more miles on the tread. This is my second pair of Bikila LS, (th Vibram overall) and the can last a solid year (roughly 15-25 miles per week). Despite the recent settlement, I will continue to stand by this shoe as a great lightweight running option!
