"Cliff Hanger" 11/10/10
I still have my original Vasque boots from @1990. Three sets of laces and $25 out of pocket for a retread do not compare to the thounsands of miles I have logged. They have served me well all over the world. On one occasion I had to dye them black, but with avid wear, they are no worse for wear. I just purchased two new pair and am anxious to introduce my daughter to Vasque. I do not understand the recent 25% jump in price and the jury is still out as whether or not the Made inc China version will live up to expectations, but I will let you know. . . thus. . . .
