"Perhaps I got a pair of factory seconds" 02/20/12

Been buying Vasque for years, but not after this. It was almost like the leather portion of the boots wasn't cut right, along one of the seams between the leather upper and the sole was a gap, they didn't wear well, and even after breaking them in, never provided the foot support one requires from a hiking boot.

"A tremendous boot that has been at the top for years." 09/16/07

When I was looking for a hiking boot years ago I was told the Sundowner was the best of the bunch. I made a poor choice then and stuck it out with inferior boots. After finally wearing those our and destroying my feet in the process, It was time to get a pair of Sundowners. My first trip with them was on incredibly rocky terrain where I rarely had my feet on flat ground. I hardly had a chance to break them in, but I never got a blister.
