"If they fit your foot they are great" 11/26/10
Like the other reviewers I had initial fit issues with the flat toe box. After swapping the stock insoles for some Sole Slims and heat molding them the fit is worlds better. They are incredibly warm, kept loosely "laced " walk great etc. I havent really had the durability issues as other reviewers. I found these were a great alternative to plastics and I am very happy I was able to work around the minor fit issues. On the downside, the stock short gaiters are basically worthless IMO. Too short and very very tight around my calf.
"Extremely light, not durable, and not waterproof" 05/14/09
I was impressed by the comfortable fit for a pair of double boots in addition the support and lightweight of the Radiators. However, after a season of guiding these boots were falling apart; the rand was peeling, the pull straps were ripped and the bails were flaking off. This is due to the sticky climbing rubber Vasque uses (obviously a plus and a minus). Also they absorb water more than I was willing to put up with in an alpine setting.
"Warm, light, comfort. Flat toe cabin is a problem" 04/28/09
I got this. The FLAT toe cabin problem mentioned above does exist. however this is a good boot, warm, light, flexible, despite of the FLAT toe cabin. try it before buying. once in the right size you will love it.

The Radiators are awesome boots if you have really flat feet. When I mean flat I mean really FLAT. I felt my toes like being caught in a vice, in vertical direction. Width wise they were good, but toe space in vertical direction is minimal and does not allow a thick sock and are quite uncomfortable. Obviously I returned them. I went back to my first choice, the Scarpa Omega. Pros Strong, warm mountaineering boot, price, detachable inner boot, comes with mini gaiters. Cons uncomfortable, the toe box is too th
