FEATURES of the Tubbs Women's Flex ESC Snowshoe
FLEX Tail: The patented FLEX Tail technology allows the snowshoe to roll more naturally underfoot from heel strike to toe off. The FLEX Tail absorbs shock from the initial heel strike, reducing the amount of stress on ankles, knees and hips
Torsion Deck: Tubbs' advanced Torsion Deck design adapts to variable snow conditions underfoot. The deck allows torsional articulation throughout the body of the snowshoe, enhancingtraction, biomechanics and comfort on uneven terrain
Rotating Toe Cord: The Rotating Toe Cord design enables the tail of the snowshoe to drop, shedding snow off the tail and reducing cardio-respiratory strain by 7%. The underfoot pivot point also allows the teeth on the toe traction to bite deeply into the snow when weighted
Rotating Toe Rotation Limiter: The Rotating Toe Cord design enables the tail of the snowshoe to drop, shedding snow and reducing cardio-respiratory strain by 7%, while a Rotation Limiter prevents over-rotation
Quick FLEX: The molded Quick FLEX binding is gender-specific with patented Control Wings to center the boot. A dual-pull strap system secures fit while a cinch pull strap makes entry and exit easy The heel strap pulls tight against the boot, centering and securing it in position. women's size 5-11
Traction Rails: The 3D-Curved Traction Rails ensure superior side-hill grip in hard packed and icy conditions. The curved shape helps prevent fore-aft slippage on steeper terrain by avoiding the "saw blade" effect. The Traction Rails are curved up at the tip to provide traction during toe off without causing you to trip

Not the greatest for staying secureI've had these for two Upper Peninsular winters now, and I use them quite often. They have good enough traction to climb up steep slopes, but the straps aren't so great. I usually have to stop about twice per snowshoeing adventure to re-tighten the straps because they will come loose as I'm walking, sometimes if I don't notice soon enough my foot will slip right out. Overall, they're an alright snowshoe, but if you want to use them a lot, you're going to get annoyed with them.

Great snowshoe at an affordable priceI just tried these snowshoes out on a trek today and couldn't be happier! They are incredibly lightweight and felt nearly like I didn't have them on. I really appreciated the side teeth on hills and did not slip at all. The previous times I've snowshoed with the more common tube frames, I fell every time. I didn't have any issues with snow clumping and my friend had to stop twice to clear packed snow. Can't wait to go again!
