A great cot. Before I bought it, I had read some negative feedbacks about this product. Maybe all complained about that it was hard to install. But for me, that is OK. It takes me less than 5 mins to install for the first time and another 5 mins to fold it. I think it is acceptable.,,It is a little bit weighter than 5 pounds, but still very light.,,Anyway, I think this product is Ok. But if you want to get a more comfortable cot, I strongly recommend you to get a airbed.

Beats being on the ground....OK. So got this cool cot to try out. Always seems to be easier to give the bad, so I will start there. Makes a lot of noise... maybe this will lessen when the fabric stretches a bit. And the braces want to catch the fabric when you go to install on the side rails. This is because the openings are a bit small. They could make the slots a bit larger and totally eliminate this problem. The weight is a bit misleading. I checked it in the carry bag and it goes right at 5.5 lbs. Still not too large to take kayak camping. But I would never attempt with backpacking.,,Now the good news. I found it to be pretty comfy. I put a yoga pad or a not too thick self- inflating air mat on top and it works out awesome. Can be used even in a 2 man tent as the height is low enough so you do not have your face pressed to top of tent, but more than enough off the ground.,,I got it on sale and would buy it again.
