The Piranha Alpine Knife by Trango clips to a key ring or a carabiner so you can easily take it everywhere. The blade is machined from surgical quality 440-C stainless with a serrated blade - just what you need to peel duct tape off your shoes or dig a splinter out of the palm of your hand. The locking blade can be opened and closed with one hand but it's absolutely impossible to open when clipped to a normal carabiner. Bottle opener included.Important: Carry it on a regular size standard gate carabiner so it won't open accidentally.

Awesome little knife, very sharp. This knife is not what i expected, but it is also more then I expected. I read the reviews on this product and people where saying that it is small, well I will agree it is a very small knife. A small knife with a lot of potential, it is really sharp and really strong. The fact that is small make it convenient, you can put it on your keys when not climbing and onto a biner when climbing. The bottle opener is sweet to. It is a nice feature to have when you want to pop the top of a cold brew. The screwdriver feature is the only thing that makes no sense on this blade, because it is not very functional at all.

Very sharp, but not very durable knifeThis knife was purchased with the intention of being a handy tool to keep hung on my climbing harness. I put the tool on a carabineer on my harness, and then put the whole setup in my climbing gym bag. I got to the gym the next day with the intention of showing off this cool new toy, but when I took it off of the biner I found that the locking tab was bent enough to let the blade swing free. I could no longer lock the blade in the open or closed position which made the knife very difficult to use. I used some pliers to fix the locking tab. For an emergency knife, I am surprised at its flimsy nature. I gave this knife a low score because of this. Otherwise this is a very neat tool!

This product is tiny and super sharp. This product is tiny and virtually weightless. Bottle cap opener a plus flat head screwdriver useless novelty. The Piranha is super sharp and I could see myself cutting through rope/webbing in a jam or my seat belt if I was in an accident and it wouldn't release.,,,,The problems though are: ,,1) Really slippery since handle is stainless steel. I almost cut my hand opening a cardboard box.,,2) The package says: "Opens and closes with one hand." It's really hard to open with 1 hand especially if you have big paws. I wouldn't really worry too muh about the knife opening accidentally.

Stays sharp, easy to open/close with one hand. This is the best little knife I've ever gotten - it's almost a year old and is still sharp after using it to cut almost everything. Perfect on a keychain since it's about as thick as a key. I've forgotten a knife on trips a time or two, but this is on my keys and always proves to stand up to anything I put it to, besides cutting firewood. The best feature about the knife is the locking mechanism: easy to open and close with one hand.

Be Prepared with this knife.Great little knife, i used it to kill a kodiak bear once. Its perfect for so many things and the best thing available for so many more. Its super strong, i never know its there but when i need it, its ready to go. It never opens on accident and stays locked open until your done with it. Great super sharp blade has lasted without sharpening for some time. I would recommend this blade to anyone who has their whitlin' chip. If you dont know what that is you shouldn't be handling a knife, according to the Boy Scouts of America.

10 out of 10No complaints with this knife. Perfect for what I bought it for. If you just want a nice little knife to carry around on your keychain, this one will do the trick. It's shorter than a key and equally thin. It won't open accidentally when on a carabiner. You have to take it off the carabiner to use it, but I can't see wanting to use it on the carabiner anyway.

dont lose it!Great little knife, does everything a knife with a bottle opener should. The only drawback is the small size, though its compact size did come handy when i stepped on a sea urchin and needed something small to get those hard to reach spots between my toes that were ever so painfully infested with many spines. <BR>Bottle opener always a plus.

Take it with you everywhere!I love this knife, it's so small I keep it in my wallet. I use it everyday use, camping, rock climbing and to open a bottle of beer. I think I used the screw driver feature once It's not a great feature, but at least it is better than trying to use a knife blade as a screw driver.
