The NeoClassic Wiregate Carabiners by Trango feature cold forged, anodized bodies with hooded gate notches, and they're still easy on the wallet. Available with straight, bent or wire gates. Use the straight gate version for all round use or for the bolt end of a quickdraw, and the bent gates for the rope end of your 'draws. Wire gate carabiners reduce whiplash, gate chatter, won't ice up and reduce the overall weight. Use them everywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite wiregate I really like Trango biners and these are staples in my rack. They're extremely light, though not as light at the Superfly, but a lot less expensive. On a college chick's budget, that is important. The gate is really smooth and they clip nicely. I have a set of draws of these as well. I feel safe taking a nasty fall on these because they're so strong even though they're so light. Buy them if you're wanting to save on cash and weight but if money is not an issue for you, try the lighter Superfly biners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for accessories This carabiner is a bit on the heavy side compared to others in its class. It is inexpensive however, and is great for accessories like chalk bags and pets

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, classy lines and hooks to my belt well... I'm excited to have a carabiner that the spring will not break or require making sure it shuts.
