gets the job doneworks just fine for top rope anchors, plenty strong and easy to spot when dropped with its purple color. easy to open with an almost 'free spinning' screw gate (as in, once it's loose you spin it and it keeps going until fully unlocked) as opposed to a more resistant spinning screw gate such as the ones found on metolious screw gates. ,,,,not the best to belay with. not the lightest out there by any means. very small gap with the gate open (only about 15mm). the anodization is extremely thin and wore down to the metal after only 5 climbs of about 40'. (the anodization is just decorative here, so it's not a safety issue). the only other thing i could point out being a flaw is that it came with one of those stickers on it that rips and leaves chunks rather than peeling (not a flaw with the carabiner itself, but annoying none-the-less).,,,,all in all a good carabiner for the cheap price.

Good CarabinerI got this Carabiner in a whole harness package and it worked very well. It was good because it did not heat up a lot when i belayed with it for a long time. Also, the screw stop does not become tight under pressure like some do. Great product and i would definitely buy it!!

Pretty good lightweight carabinerThe trango neoclassic locking carabiner is a pretty lightweight, compact carabiner. It is a bit small for use as a belay carabiner but manages fine. Great for anchors though. Again, its not the lightest but the green gate makes it look really cool
