Great Crag PackBought this 4 months ago and it has worked well for me. I can easily carry all my climbing gear for any combination of sport, trad or top-roping, rope, Extra clothes, food and libation. I have found it comfortable and durable.

Holds everything and ruggedI have a problem with bringing too much stuff to the crag. 3 pairs of shoes. 20 quick draws, lots of extra chalk, 3 different changes of clothes. I can fit it ALL in the crag pack. It looks small in the image, but trust me, its not. It holds tons. I'm also pretty bad at destroying things; I've had mine for a bit over a year now and I've put it through the ringer and its still in excellent (perfect) condition despite being drug, carrying and squeeze all over.

Great PackThis pack is perfect for longer days with more gear. I can fit a rope, two pairs of shoes, a double rack, food, water and helmet in this pack without much issue. It sits comfortably on my shoulders and hips.
If you're looking for small crag pack, this isn't for you. But for longer days where you're not quite sure what you're getting into (or if you just like to carry all of your gear) then this is the perfect bag.

Great features but heavyI really like this pack for the features, but it weighs 2x as much as its competitors. It doesn't have much in the way of a frame and the idea of slogging it to the crags in NorCal when I have to deal with elevation just didn't appeal.

Everything you need, nothing you don'tThis is just about the perfect cragging pack; durable, decent sized, reasonably priced and functional. The only drawback is that the lid is not waterproof.

Perfect for climbingWell thought out features that are perfect for climbing! The mesh shoe pocket is great for airing out shoes but is even better for the ease of access. I love just stuffing my shoes in and pulling them right out. When just picking up the gear and moving to the next wall at the crag its great to not have to unzip my pack stuff my shoes in and zip it back up only to unzip and retrieve my shoes only a minute or two later. Next the "brain section of the pack is great for a couple sandwiches and daily "comfort" items that I use when out climbing. Also this pack is HUGE! It was far larger than I expected but its nice because my last pack always had to be stretched closed if I wanted to get the zipper shut. Lastly this pack carries very well. I used to carry a double rack, harness, shoes, belay device and some biners in my old pack and my partner would carry the rope bag, his harness and shoes and the quickdraws. Now I can add the quickdraws in my own pack and still have room for plenty more yet still feel as light as if I hadn't stuffed an additional 15 draws in my pack.
There are some negatives however. I never use the "side access zipper". Its just weird and doesn't open very wide and anything in that section of the pack is better accessed by unzipping the top. Second I wish there was better storage for water bottles. The "tarp pocket" is a bit short for a nalgene and the other "guide book pocket" is filled with a guide book of course so it cant hold a water bottle. I wish they would have put two more elastic pockets on the back side of the pack for two nalgenes instead of that side access zipper. Those would have been way more useful.
All in all the best and most well thought out pack for climbing though. Not disappointed!
