Great stick, great portability, holds up well.I've had one of these for a few years now, they're great. Mine's been all around the Blue Ridge, Catoctin Mtns, down to Haiti with me, and held up great. The only thing I'd recommend is to get a couple extra tips, both the screw on type and the rubber tip. Poking around in holes geocaching tends to cause them to pull off.
I like this MUCH better than those ski pole based walking staffs.
