AwesomeI've been using this rack several times per week this winter and it's great. It does the job and I would highly recommend this rack over any other option. For this reason I will just list two minor things to watch out for.,,,,- When the rack is fully loaded, it's a bit difficult to push and pull the sliders. You just need to push up slightly and then slide it. I don't see any obvious way to improve this, because ball bearings or wheels would add complexity, up the price, and freeze up in cold. ,,- If mounting the rack on round Yakima bars, the speed link attachments may rotate around the bar a bit in high winds. You need to really cinch them down, otherwise they will move. At freeway speeds they seem to hold up fine, and when there are skis loaded you don't need to worry at all. Just when driving around with empty racks on round bars, cinch em down tight if you don't want them to move.
