Glad I Took the GambleI used to sell Thule for another outfitter and had a traditional roof rack: square bars, fairing, the whole nine. I bought a new car and my rack no longer fit. I wasn't thrilled about buying a new rack, but I loved the car, so I started researching: Yakima, Thule, round, flat, blades? Ugh. I agonized. I wondered if the aerobalde would be as quiet as claimed. I worried it would be more of a pain to assemble and load. I worried about losing beuacoup mpgs and that it would be flimsy. It was also more expensive, but that's only if you don't take into consideration buying the fairing, which is a must for square bars. Still, I decided to go for it because I trusted Thule and read lots of other reviews (read my assembly review under the fit kit/feet). It's been about 6 weeks now, so I can say confidently that I'm super happy. The aeroblades are truly whisper quiet, light but sturdy, and I've only lost a 1-2/gal. Plus, I got the best price and highest confidence buying from Moosejaw. Rock on!
