The Therm-a-Rest Treo Chair is a camp chair for relaxed seating by the fire, next to the lake, and anywhere else you need a seat. The 4.5" x 10.5" packed dimensions are deceiving, but the Treo packs a big punch, able to handle up to 250 lbs, and opens to a height of 13 inches. That's right, get in and out of the chair without looking a fool! The two pound, three ounce weight allows you to toss it into a backpack or even just carry in your hand. The strong, 6000-series aluminum frame combines with a durable nylon/Dyneema sling to hold you up when you need to kick back and relax.

Horrible! Lasted 1 hr.I weigh an astounding 180 lbs. I bought this chair in Boulder on Saturday for a weeks hike in the Collegiate Peaks. We setup first camp on Sunday. Around noon. I was so excited to show off my chair and brag to the ground sitters. Guess what broke an hour into its first use!?! The chair leg. The cheap plastic legs bowed under my weight. It's rated for 250 lbs. I spliced it with two sticks and gorilla tape just to use it for the rest of the week. I will never buy another one of these.

Comfortable, compact, light! We received two of these as gifts for Xmas this year and really like them. I'm a 170, fidgety individual, and the chair is still going strong. It has kept me out of the snow around the campfire, is comfortable, as well as stows in a small package. I can't wait to use it kayaking this summer. The product support is excellent, they sent a new version of the poles as soon as requested. Matter of fact due to their support I ordered two more chairs!

Works well for me...I used this chair on a 4 day backpacking trek in Zion and never had any issues with it. It holds me comfortably and packs up very nicely. I am a smaller guy though, 145 5'10". I can see that a larger fellow would have some trouble enjoying this chair as it is quite narrow.
