The Therm-a-Rest Slacker Hammock Bug Cover is a bug net for your Therm-A-Rest hammock. The bug cover has a large door, making entry and exit from your hammock just a little easier. Once inside, you're completely surrounded by no-see-um mesh and protected from the flying bugs and creepy crawlies that can otherwise interrupt your mid-afternoon nap. The bottom is made with nylon, for more durability when out and about in nature. Rest easy and come evening, you can even hang a light from the webbing above.

Needs tweaking so the net isn't on top of you! This Thermarest Hammock Bug Net sagged badly, the ridgeIine for it is too long! It was right in my face. So I took the advice of someone on youtube and ended up tying 2 loops in the bug net ridgeline to shorten it. One in the center and tweaked it further with a small loop on one of the ends. Now it works better. Thermarest could do better by sewing adjustable loops in the ends of the ridgeline similar to those of hammock straps to alleviate this problem! Guess I'll get the sewing machine out! But other than this, I am pleased with the net itself. But only 2 stars till the ridgeline issue is fixed!

Great versatility. Highly functional I love it.I purchased the Slacker Hammock Bug Shelter to go with my new Slacker Double hammock. I own several hammocks and bug shelters and can say that this is my favorite to date. I love the integrated ridge strap not found on any of my other bug shelters. The ridge strap makes the bug shelter compatible with most of my other hammocks, this is a definite bonus. The extra sized door is great too making it extremely easy to get in and out, not the same on some other bug shelters. Having a separate hammock and bug shelter IMHO is more convenient than other hammocks with an integrated bug net because you can ditch the net when it's bug free and you an sit in or hang your feet over the edge while in full bug protection. A great product and highly recommended.
