Perfect for van/bus-campingI purchased this comforter for use as a summer backpacking quilt for my wife and me. We've used it only a couple of times backpacking as the weather hasn't been warm enough on many of our trips. However, we use it regularly in our VW bus as our standard bed kit. It fits perfect, it is appropriately warm (temp rating seems correct), and it packs small and light. The fitted end not only works on our two Neo Trekker mattresses with the down coupler, but it matches the size of a VW bus bed as if it was made custom. Really love this blanket/comforter.

Awesome blanket!I got this blanket to attach with my other blanket and attached them both to the Therm-a-rest down coupler and it works amazing! it is so simple to set up and keeps you very warm! I slept in below 0 degree Celsius and stayed the perfect temperature. the blanket system is far less constricting compared to using sleeping bags. It is the best set up Ive ever used!

The Double wide model I bought has a foul odor, but the Single Wide I bought does not. Rotten down.I just received a Double model that has a foul smell associated with slaughterhouse duck down aroma. This is especially a problem when it is humid. It has a lingering smell like a dead mouse in the room or tent...,,,,The Single Wide model I bought did not have this problem, so hopefully this is a defect found in just one lot of these pricey blankets. Cascade Designs, the manufacturer, was indifferent, somewhat arrogant, when I called to alert them to the problem. Luckily MooseJaw was helpful and concerned, and immediately offered to pay my return shipping and provide a refund.,,,,If you have/get one of these I suggest that you lightly mist the blanket, or take it into a steamy shower room (NOT in the shower, just the steam), and then put it into a large bag or stuff sack. This will simulate what will happen when you go camping. If you notice a bad aroma coming from your blanket when you take it out of the bag, then you have the same problem too. MooseJaw Stinkologists - please take note!!!
