The Double wide model I bought has a foul odor, but the Single Wide I bought does not. Rotten down.I just received a Double model that has a foul smell associated with slaughterhouse duck down aroma. This is especially a problem when it is humid. It has a lingering smell like a dead mouse in the room or tent...,,,,The Single Wide model I bought did not have this problem, so hopefully this is a defect found in just one lot of these pricey blankets. Cascade Designs, the manufacturer, was indifferent, somewhat arrogant, when I called to alert them to the problem. Luckily MooseJaw was helpful and concerned, and immediately offered to pay my return shipping and provide a refund.,,,,If you have/get one of these I suggest that you lightly mist the blanket, or take it into a steamy shower room (NOT in the shower, just the steam), and then put it into a large bag or stuff sack. This will simulate what will happen when you go camping. If you notice a bad aroma coming from your blanket when you take it out of the bag, then you have the same problem too. MooseJaw Stinkologists - please take note!!!

ComfyTook it out to see how low it would go, first night we got snowed on and the second night was even colder at 33 and had to break out the alpaca blanket so the 45 degree rating is right on the money, packs to nothing and light as (censored) ......Love it

Lightweight and great design!I really like this blanket overall; design and packability is good. I only gave it four stars, because despite the quality down, it feels a bit less warm then the rated temperature.
