A Lot of Cushion for a Little DoughI found out about this sleeping pad on Backpacker.com.They recommended it because it's a great buy. I went with the Small size to save weight and money, hoping it would still be comfortable. I'm 5'10" and it fits me very well...cushy comfort from my shoulders to my shins. I really couldn't feel the ground beneath me. I like the color too! Very true to the photo. The material is the only thing I'm a little iffy about. It seems thinner and less durable than their older, heavier model. But I'm sure their younger, thinner model has been tested and approved. Get you one!

I'd Invest in a Better One...This pad is acceptable if you simply can't afford anything else, but, as far as comfort goes, this pad is very lacking. As a side-sleeper, whenever I've used this pad, my hips hurt all night and I haven't slept very well. Also, it doesn't pack down very small. Rolled up, this pad is almost as big as my sleeping bag, which leaves little room for the rest of my gear in a 50 liter pack. I'd invest in a more compact, more comfortable pad if I could afford it.

Affordable QualityThis sleeping pad is not very thick, but does the job well. It requires a bit more puffs into the valve than with other Thermarests I've owned. It's pretty lightweight for the price, and the material has a nice tack to it that is just sticky enough to keep the pad from sliding all over the place throughout the night, but not too much that it collects dirt. Overall, a very good value for what it is. Hard to beat the weight for the price.

great pad for the priceFor 50 bucks, you can't beat the value of this sleeping pad. It's packs down to a decent size which is a great for backpacking. While there are more comfortable sleeping pads out there, none of them are nearly as affordable as this one. I definitely recommend it.
