Made with more insulation in the torso and foot area, where women get colder faster. Ideal for 3-season backpacking trips, climbs and treks where lightweight and durability are a priority.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy Me (Now) I used this almost every day for weeks in the himalayas, then again in iceland. I also take it with me on short trips. It has never failed, but I carry a patch kit just in case. More importantly, it is super warm. Even on snow, I dont feel the cold ground. I also cant feel rocks or twigs or any other unpleasant things that might be under me. I am a dude, but I bough the womens because it is warmer for the same weight. I tend to curl up when I sleep so 6 inches short isnt a big deal. If you want to go ultralight, you can sleep in your cloths on top of this and bail on the sleeping bag. It also fits nicely in my ENO doublenest hammock and makes it into a great winter option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly Comfy I am always skeptical of products that market themselves as the "women's version", but in this case, there are actual structural changes to the pad that seem to be relevant. My husband has the same pad, though in the regular version, so I have tried both. I can clearly tell that there is more padding at the hips and feet for the women's version, and it is a tad shorter. I am 5'4", and the pad isn't a whole lot longer than me. The pad rolls up into a shape not much bigger than a roll of paper towels, which is super easy to pack. Plus, it's purple, which is an awesome color!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super comfy, pretty lightweight, what's not to like? To be honest, I don't find most backpacking sleeping arrangements very comfy, considering at home I sleep on a super comfy memory foam mattress. However, I found this pad to be surprisingly comfy for something that isn't super thick. I sleep on my side, but that wasn't really a problem with this mattress, so for back sleepers it'd probably be a dream. It's pretty lightweight, but isn't the lightest, and it packs down moderately small. I haven't had it for very long, so I can't really comment on the durability, but so far it seems to be working great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm More Comfortable I've tried sleeping without a sleeping pad only one time, and that was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. So I decided to invest in this sleeping pad. It definitely keeps me warmer and more comfortable than if I were sleeping on the ground, but it is a little short and I'm not a very tall person, so I have to position myself just right to make sure I'm completely on the sleeping pad. But other than that, it does it's job and compresses to a small and easy to carry size that is fairly light so I'm happy with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must buy for minimalist campers! I've hiked with heavy packs, and struggling up a hill with 60+ lbs as a 115 lb girl is not so fun. So this year I turned minimalist and I can pick up my pack with one hand with ease with everything in it but food. This sleeping pad is the perfect weight for a long backpacking trip and keeps me perfectly comfortable all night long. I highly recommend this to any woman backpacker or casual camper who wants a lighter load on their next trip!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this pad! I took this sleeping pad on a month long backpacking last summer in the Pisgah National Forest. It was super lite, didn't take up much room at all in my pack, and I slept awesome every night! I was worried that it wouldn't be very comfortable because of how lite and compact it was, but I was pleasantly surprised! Would recommend this to any backpacker!!

This pad has both served as a plain sleeping pad but also as a very much need raft to get my pack across some swimming holes. Even when completly soaked the pad is dry in about 20 minutes and ready for use. Best bad ever deffenlty worth the cost!!!
