The Therm-A-Rest NeoAir Trekker Sleeping Pad features the same innovative Triangular Core Matrix design as the wildly successful Therm-A-Rest NeoAir mattress. This design contributes to the mattress warmth by creating a multitude of air cells that minimize air movement and convective cooling, also creating an internal truss system that virtually eliminates the instability generally found on large tube-based air mattresses. The NeoAir Trekker is extremely compact and lightweight, and features a durable yet supple fabric that is ideal for backpackers, climber and campers with pretty much any level of experience. This Therm-A-Rest mattress is made in the USA, you guys, and totally includes a stuff sack.

Award Winner - American Alpine Institute's Guides' Choice Seal Award 2009

FEATURES of the Therm-A-Rest NeoAir Trekker Sleeping Pad

  • The NeoAir Trekker mattress offers an excellent combination of comfort, durability and compactness
  • The fabrics used on the Trekker mattress create a softer, quieter sleep experience, and offer increased resistance to punctures and wear
  • Stuff sack and repair kit included

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a must have or your back may just hound you all day screaming "you got the wrong pad!" This is a must have product for those that want an air like feel when sleeping on the cold hard ground. If not over inflated you can sleep sideways like you do at home without the discomfort of the ground pressuring your sides. It really follow the contour of you body line.(subject to your size, try it at the store first) Blowing it up was a bit of work vs a self inflating version. You really do have to blow it up, which Randy did for me! Awesome crew Moosejaw people! But when your on your feet all day with a heavy pack on your back, it’s a small price to pay for the overall comfort. Did I mention its also lighter and so much easier to pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome sleeping experience After some bad experiences with other sleeping pads which were not really isolating nor comfortable on stones and cold surfaces, I tried the NeoAir from Therm-A-Rest. The compressed size is really impressing and the weight still ok for a pad that size.,,The only bad thing is to blow this immense pad up when you are already exhausted after a day hike in the mountains, it feels like it takes forever.,,But on the other hand, when you have finished the bad part, it will persuade you immidiately with its perfect isolating and cushioning performance. I never slept so warm and comfortable than with this NeoAir pag (sure it depends also on the sleeping bag).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly light and feels like a real bed!!! Up until a few months ago I used to use a yoga mat as a sleeping pad and because I practically live outdoors I finally decided to invest in a decent one. I've been using it almost every day since I bought it and am very pleased, it really feels like a luxurious airbed to say the least. The only two downsides to this are that it's not self-inflating and I can get a bit light-headed after I'm through blowing it up, and because it's strictly an airbed my bum will usually be touching the ground if it's not blown up all the way (although I've never felt cold due to this).,,This is a great choice if you want to sleep well and pack light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is super comfy. I originally got the neo-air in a regular. I love it and still have it, but after a week AT section hike, I decided I wanted the wider version. Instead of buying a wider neo-air, I bought the wide trekker. I just finished another AT section hike and this thing performed like expected. Unbelievably comfy, no durability issues. It was so hot I didn't even take a bag on the hike, just a tech blanket, and this thing felt like it was sheet covered. It appears more durable than neoair and is less noisy. I liked the fact that it came with a sack for storage, but the only down side is it is 7 ounces heavier than the neo-air.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like sleeping on a cloud I used this pad in the BWAC and if none of you have ever been up there there are rocks everywhere. Out of the seven nights that i was there i found out the next morning that there were rocks exactly where my hip would have been the last night. with over 2 inches of seperation from the ground and my body there was no contact with the ground. this pad rolls up ridiclously small and is very lightweight i would refer anyone to get it. ,,,,Now that the review is over try to find the N,,,,MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMNMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM,,have fun!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sleeping pad- comfortable and packable Bought this for camping and backpacking as well as trips where I knew I would be sleeping on a hotel floor. Just used it this last weekend in NYC sleeping on the floor of my friend's apartment. It was a hardwood floor and when laying on my side I couldn't feel my hip digging into the floor at all. Very comfortable overall although I need to find a better pillow for next time. ,,,,I'm 6'2 and I got the long size and i can completely fit on the pad without hanging off in any direction. I was debating between this and one of the Exped mattresses for a while and although I still haven't tried the Exped mattresses myself, I'm definitely happy with this sleeping pad. Highly recommended

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pad! I have used this for about a year now, and really like it. As a side-sleeper, I converted from a Z-Lite to this pad, and my nights in the field have improved greatly as a result. ,,,,My regular size packs up small (about 6"x4") and light, so fitting it into the pack is easy. I haven't had any issues with durability yet (knock on wood), but like any air mattress, you do need to be more careful than with a closed-cell foam mat. It is pretty stable, due to the horizontal air chambers, and I rarely roll off of it. Also, it inflates in about 25 medium puffs for me, which takes just under a minute.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Pad I Have Ever Graced With My Ass This pad is amazing! It may seem a little pricy compared to other sleeping pads, but can you really put a price on a good night's sleep?! I have the size long, and my 6'3" frame easily fits in a mummy bag with room to spare. It packs down extremely small and comes with a nifty stuff sack. It is self inflating, so it takes a few minutes to inflate. As long as you take it slow and don't go gonzo trying to inflate it in 20 seconds you will be fine. It is made of very tough material and distributed my weight very nicely... which led to the best night's sleep I have gotten out on the trail.
