"Fits NeoAir perfectly, but not waterproof and shouldn't cost extra" 08/11/11
After charging $100-150 for the NeoAir, I don't see why this stuff sack didn't come with the NeoAir. It adequately secures the NeoAir from unpacking itself, but doesn't really protect the pad from much. In fact, I think a 1QT Ziploc baggy would protect my NeoAir better than this stuff-sack with respect to waterproof-ness and protection from abrasion/penetration/laceration/etc.
"bag for your Pad" 04/03/11
I think the sleeping pad should come with this sack and not have to buy it separately. I was kinda worried about damaging my NeoAir sleeping pad when I pack it in my bag so i bought this to protect it, seems to do the job.
"A must have" 12/14/10
this bag is a great protector of the neo sleeping pad. It is definaltly worth the 15 bucks you pay to have it protect the pad because of its strength. if you have bought a neo air sleeping pad, than you have better grabbed this for that pad... it is a must have!!
"Should come with the Neo Air" 12/04/10
Does Therma-Rest make the best pads on the market? - YesShould a $170 pad come with a stuff sack? - YesDoes the Neo-Air come with a stuff sack? NopeDo you need a stuff sack to keep you Neo-Air clean, protected, and small when in your pack? - No, not really, and yes (unless you find a velcro strap)
"Useful, Lightweight and Looks Good" 11/23/10
The large stuff sack is a bit loose with the large NeoAir sleeping pad inside and it is a few inches longer than than the pad. Would probably be o.k. if I get lazy and don't get all the air out of the pad. The extra length holds a sleeping bag liner so it may be useful and not wasted material. It would be good to have a compression strap or a velcro strap to hold the sleeping pad rolled tight when it is put into the loose stuff sack. It does look good though and will keep the sleeping pad clean.
"Useful, lightweight, looks good, fits a bit loose" 11/15/10
The large NeoAir Stuff Sack fits a bit loose on the large NeoAir Pad, but if I am in a hurry or just plain tired and don't get all the air out then the little extra room works out well. The couple of inches of extra length of the stuff sack either just folds over or I can stuff a lightweight sleeping bag liner in there too. The stuff sack is really light and can be used in the tent to hold pocket items and my glasses in the tent at night and the bright color is easier to see so they don't get lost among other stuff.
"It is nice to have, but not necessary" 11/09/10
It's nice to have this to help protect your matt, but I wouldn't say it is necessary. The deflated matt will stay rolled up without a bag and you could tie a string around it if you really wanted to secure it. I would mostly get this to help protect the matt.
