Usable but not supes comfyI generally like really soft, squishy pillows, and this definitely is not that. It's really great because it fits up into a really tiny bag, but it is not exactly what I would call comfortable. It depends on what you're looking for, but I would recommend the other travel pillow Moosejaw has in the store. It's way more comfortable, although it takes up more space. It's up to you.

Choose the correct size carefullyI bought this pillow (med size) to use in conjunction with the Therm-A-Rest Down Pillow (also med size). The med inflatable is too big to fit inside of the med down pillow. That being said, this inflatable pillow is similar to other NeoAir products: strong, light, and expensive (must be the high labor costs in China). If you are a back sleeper, this pillow is probably plenty thick by itself. If you are a side sleeper, you will probably want more height than this pillow can provide by itself. I will probably keep this pillow as a camp seat (the med size seems perfect for this) and order an additional inflatable pillow (small) to use with the down pillow. BTW, the medium is shaped like an "M" (like the picture of the "everglade" colored pillow), I assume the small is more square (like the "burnt orange" colored one in the pictures). I didn't notice any crinkly noise from internal foil (like some of the NeoAir mattresses), which is good (especially for a pillow).

Mate it with the therm-a-rest down pillow for super comfort on the trailNot too bad on it's own for comfort with a shirt or something over it. Sooo light and small. Pair it with the therm-a-rest down pillow and you have awesome comfort. I sleep both back and side. It's fantastic for side sleeping, nothing I've ever tried comes close.
