The Therm-A-Rest Fast & Light Repair Kit enables you to be a field repair shop for any mishaps you might have with your mattress. The kit contains an assortment of pre-cut nylon patches, and HotBond adhesive with an applicator, which is the same adhesive used for repairs in the Therm-A-Rest repair shop. The adhesive works under a variety of conditions, wet and cold, and will have your mattress back in a functional state in a mere 10 minutes. "Insurance" 12/17/11

I've never used this, but I carry it with me. It's cheap insurance as far as I'm concerned. However, with the high cost of Thermarest pads, I'd like to see this simple kit included with them.

Does the trick. Fast, light, easy to use, works... I take it on anything more than a 2 night outing. Get the permanent patch kit for a permanent fix though.

"Good to have, hopefully won't ever use it" 07/28/10

I've had my old therm-a-rest for 16 years and never had a patch kit, just got a neoair and I'm a little afraid, so i picked this up. I'm sure this kit will work, just seems a little overpriced. I'm going to look for non name brand alternatives.

"Would love to have a more permanent repair kit that fits the yellow neoair design" 04/21/10

I already had a little cut in my brand new neoair. Luckily I bought the repair kit and it solved the problem on the spot. Very easy to use and explained in a comprehensible way. I would love to have a more permanent kit available as well because it doesn't look like this one is made to last on the neoair for ever.

I hope I never need this. However, given the price of the mattress, it's a no-brainer to get this repair kit. I bought two!

I just got a prolite and got this kit, a first i was surprised how small this kit was but it will have a home in my pack just in case the mat pops, if you got a pad this is a must have piece of gear
