The Therm-A-Rest Alpine Down Blanket brings the comfort and warmth of a down comforter to the backcountry. It’s like it’s from a fancy hotel, except we can’t guarantee any of those little wrapped soaps. Everyone knows the tiny shampoos are way better than the wrapped soaps, anyway. Featuring 700-fill goose down, this blanket provides three-season warmth while weighing an ultralight 1 lb 5 oz. This blanket has perimeter snaps and to snap your sleeping pad in with room to spare for your teddy bear. The zipperless design provides the maximum range of movement while enhancing ventilation. The compressible and very packable ultralight down blanket fits in the included stuff sack and can fit in any backcountry pack without weighing it down.

Direction of the future, so much to loveI've only had a short time but totally buy into TR blanket system - many obvious mild weather advantages. This is draftier than a bag and I'm not so sure about the cold rating, but the blanket is well-sewn, decent loft, and light weight. I am tall so I am glad I bought the large. Con - challenging to snap to sheet, even more so to unsnap. I would not just pull apart as it seems more likely to pull the snap right out of the fabric (speculation at this time). Also, make sure you have plan B to keep your head warm.

Feels like like butterI like the material it is soft and light. I had it down to 38 degrees on a exped down mat. I think the temp rating is accurate if on the correct pad. It has little drapes on both sides to keep in the heat the foot box is generous and I am a little claustrophobic. This is now one of my favorite outdoor purchased. I looked at a Western Mountain Tamarack for my daughter and ended up with this. I think I made a good choice.
