"Good for Wind Protection" 01/17/12
This coat is perfect for extra windy days. I wouldn't recommend for the dead of winter, but it's perfect for windy fall days and for milder winter weather. It is quite a bit smaller than my other NF coats - I am 5'6", 120 lbs and always wear a small. I got this coat in a small and it is a bit snug. I'm not sure if it is the material (which is quite stiff) and it just needs to get a bit more worn in before it starts feeling more comfortable, but I would recommend going a size up.

Got this jacket for my birthday to protect me against the wind and cold of Pittsburgh. It works well in blocking wind and looks great. It's form-fitting, so it doesn't end up being boxy. And it's a smooth fabric that doesn't look too fluffy like other fleeces can be, so you can (sort of) dress it up. As much as you can dress up a fleece. The arms are long, which is great, and the coat covers enough torso so wind doesn't creep in between jeans and coat. My only complaint is the hood, which isn't adjustable and is slightly too large for my head. But it's not enough for me to take any points off from its awesomeness.

I love this jacket mainly because of the arms! I wear a small in North Face, but I always buy a medium because I need the extra arm length! The length of these arms are awesome, I have extra length actually with my medium. I must be honest though, I don't think this jacket could ever replaced a winter coat on super cold days or windy days. I still get the chills wearing this. It looks super cute though and not boxy of bulky.
"Nice coat but a few flaws." 12/01/10
The coat does a good job against the wind and keeps me warm. However, the sleeves are a bit too long for me and there is no way to adjust them (I am 5.4 and ordered a Large). Also, if I only have the coat partially zipped the top right hand corner does not lay flat. I find that to be quite annoying. I will say the coat is flattering and I have received many compliments.

I bought this coat last year and it still holds up remarkably! I got the black one, and it is so easy to wash. The material is great and it is extremely warm. I am very happy with this purchase, and if you're looking for a light fall or spring jacket, it's perfect! I wear it on windy days over my other windbreaker

I just got it this past saturday and I loveeee it!! It is extremely warm and wind-resistant. Even with the weather in Boston, I feel like I can just wear this and something simple inside to keep me warm all winter. Highly recommended!
