"Awesome Rainjacket!" 05/18/12
I got this jacket after moving to Houston. It's very lightweight (which is great for the Houston heat and unpredictable tropical rainstorms) and I can fold it and keep it in my backpack much more easily than an umbrella. I'm 5'7" and 135lbs and got a medium. It's pretty big, but I can easily put it over whatever I'm already wearing.

I just bought this jacket in black for my younger sister and she loves it! She is 5'2" and 120lbs and it fits just fine. Although she will wear this as a casual jacket, I own the same one and use it to hike and bike with. It is extremely breathable, durable, and keeps me dry. It is not a very warm jacket, but there is plenty of room to fit a sweatshirt or layers under the jacket. All around a great buy and worth the price tag!

The women's north face venture jacket is an exceptional piece of outerwear for wicking away rain...and coffee spills. I purchased it in juicy red, it is not very well depicted on screen; the color is more accurate on the actual north face website. Anyway, I love the color, it's so vibrant! However, I do wish I would have bought a smaller size. I'm 5'5'', 115 lbs and the small was too big! I kept it because I'm impatient, though it's a bit baggy. As a college student, this jacket is perfect for those 'flash flood' situations I always seem to get caught up in after leaving class. Overall, a practical and charming solution to the rainy day.

Love this! Bought in 2011, wore all spring 2011, then as an overcoat in winter, and again wearing in spring. I bought brown, XS. I'm 5'0 and 110 lbs. :) Fits perfect! Super light, love it. Only thing I don't like is that it's loud- lol. I wear this jacket around campus, to class, etc., and I feel like when I'm taking notes it's scraaapppping around with every arm movement.

I love this jacket! It fits very nicely over my Denali jacket which is what I wanted it for. My only complaint is that it's very wide. My Denali is a medium so I got a medium in this as well. Should have went with a small. But it's very light weight and I LOVE the color! And I made it to school dry yesterday :)
"Great Jacket !" 01/23/12
I love this rain jacket. I live on the coast of SC, so I often need a rain jacket when the weather is hot. It keeps me dry without making me too hot. I also wear it a ton in the fall. Here's a tip- if you wash it in the washing machine- don't use detergent, it can make the jacket less "water proof".
