"Great Jacket" 03/24/12
When I received the North Face Women's Triple C Jacket and opening my first impression after holding the Jacket was that it was not going to be that warm as the Jacket is very light. I was wrong. One of the great things about the jacket is that it is very light for the wamth it provides. I recently took a trip to a cold climate and this jacket kept me very warm. The jacket is comfotable and the fact that it comes down to knee length it provides adequate coverage for you legs. A couple of outside pockets can hold gloves or other small items. There is also a small inner pocket as well. The attached hood also worked well. Great jacket at a great price. Thank you Moosejaw.
"Oooh Babbyy" 03/01/12
You might be wondering whether you should by this jacket. Let me tell you a little about it.Where can you wear the Triple C? In New York City? Yes. In Chicago? Yup.Antarctica?Yessir.A city where the average temperature is >32 degrees Fahrenheit? Well. You'd look great, but you might sweat a little.Listen up, my homedawgs. This jacket. Is. The. BEST. It keeps me warm in furious winds and freezing snow, while still looking fabulous. Yes, indeed, this is the one WARM jacket in which I don't look like Tubby McSnowman. The sizing is great: I normally wear a small and the small fits perfectly. My only qualm is the name: Triple C. Is that a bra size or something?
"cheaply made material, extremely disappointment for a North Face Product" 02/05/12
My North Face jacket is barely a year old and already has pulls in the material as well as two tiny holes. I'm in New England so this jacket is not getting worn year round and is used to commute to work and back, not heavy duty work, but sitting a car, driving and running into office. Certainly nothing that would have caused stress to the material. I'm extremely unhappy that this happened and can only hope that North Face will be easy to deal with about returning this product.
"Stylish" 12/16/11
I have wanted this coat for the last two years and finally decided I was going to get it this year!! I love this coat, it fits exceptionally well, very flattering fit! Originally I did order a medium but felt it was just a little too big in the shoulders and the arms. I ended up sending it back and getting the small. It is a much better fit and I dont feel like a Big Puffy Marsh-Mellow!! Not that I would of been a Big Puffy Marsh-Mellow in the medium because this coat is not big and puffy like other down coats I have had in the past. That my husband would crack a joke every time I had one on! Now he doesn't make fun of me. So maybe Ill hold on to the old one for an occasional laugh! Lol
"Great Product - Everything I Expected!" 12/10/11
This is a great coat - very warm and cozy even on the coldest, windy days in Detroit. I have several other North Face coats and this is, by far, the warmest and helps keep the wind away. I have worn this walking to work (about a mile), and it was quite a comfortable walk. I would highly recommend this coat to anyone living in cooler climates such as the mid-west.
"Warm, but wish the zipper went down a little further" 12/06/11
I just got this jacket and have worn it several times in 30-40 degree weather. The coat is pretty warm. However, I wish the zipper went down a little further. When I walk the bottom opens up and my legs get cold.
"Keeps legs warm, but might be too long if you're short" 10/25/11
I'm 5'2" and also have the Metropolis parka. Bought the Triple C to keep legs warm during Chicago winters. Bought a medium and can fit over a suit. For reference, I am a size 8. Not as puffy as the Metropolis but the length makes up for the flatter down. One thing, the measurement of the coat is a 60 inch back seam, that is from the top of the collar (not the hood). For me the coat hits right at the ankle (about 3 inches from the floor when I am not in boots). I do need to lift the hem to step over puddles.
