"The best jacket ever!" 03/17/12
I love the style & the perfect length of this jacket which is very hard to find. It's very light weight & comfy , and removable hood is the best option with the buttons made easier than zipper. I'm 5'2 & 106 and size Sm fits me very well ( it has room to layer with a vest ) the only thing is the arm a little bit big. I got the graphic and I love that color , it's so beautiful in person than in the picture. It's the best jacket I ever have ( I have several TNF jackets) & I woudl like to order other color.Love moosejaw!
"Great jacket without silly extra bells and whistles" 01/03/12
This jacket is a great length. I have a long torso and like that it covers me well. I would normally wear a small in jackets but returned it for an extra small which fits better (however, I don't wear a sweater under it). I do not think it is warm enough to be your *warmest* jacket in a cold climate (i.e. Boston), but I am using it for my second-warmest jacket. On the other hand, I'm not wearing it with other layers and I'm usually cold in general. I also like that it has a simple style - all the pockets are useful, and there's none of that extra velcro, zippers, cords, etc that are more annoying than useful. Very happy with it!
"nice looking coat. so comfy" 01/02/12
i had doubts. i mean...i can pick up the coat with my pinky..its so light! but it look sso good on. im 5 ft 2, 112 pds and i got the small. it fits perfect in sleeve length. and its roomy for layering with sweaters. i wore it with a really thin shirt and i felt cold. also unlessi DO layer the coat almost feels too big. if you wear with a sweater/sweathshirt, u'll b fine in terms fo warmth.

I really do love this jacket. I went back and for between the different styles and finally selected this on in the graphite. I have had the nuptuse for years in black and wanted a longer jacket with a hood and something a little more fitted, this is it. I am 5'9" and 145 pounds and the medium fits great. The reason I love north face so much is I have long arms and need the length in the sleeves. TNF always delivers a jacket with long sleeves. The color is great, something different and it is kinda shiny. So far so good, would recommend this jacket to anyone, but not too many because I don't want everyone wearing my jacket.

This Jacket is great, I would say it fits a little bigger so there is definitely room for layering underneath the jacket. I am usually a M, and I ordered a medium and there is a little room just what I wanted, not too snug. Keeps me super warm! I also love the color i bought the TNF/TNF and moosejaw is one of the only websites i could find this color. Very happy!
