"Really warm and comfy!" 05/24/12
I used these pants as sleeping/lounging pants on every cool-weather outdoor research trip since I bought them. They are perfect to slip on over long underwear and keep you incredibly warm (especially in a sleeping bag) without a lot of weight. I lived in them at night in Antarctica and trekking in the Himalayas! They are also great to have in your bag as an extra layer between snow pants and long underwear on particularly chilly days.
"Cuddly and warm, but leaves fuzz" 04/02/12
These pants are super soft, and makes me want to snuggle up with my own legs. They're very warm (sometimes too warm), loose, and comfortable. My only complaint is that they leave fuzz behind -- including on leg hair stubble. Not the most attractive thing ever, but a small price to pay for such coziness.

The fabric is luxurious - lightweight, but incredibly soft and warm. Fleece seems durable and the fit is pretty good overall. I sometimes go between sizes L and XL. I didn't want these to be baggy, but wanted them comfy for camping and traveling, so I went with the XL. They fit great in the legs (straight, loose) and are just a tad big in the waist - but, the hidden drawstring takes care of that, so overall, I'm very pleased. The regular length works fine for me (I'm 5' 8") with flat casual shoes. I haven't washed them yet, so I hope they don't shrink (lengthwise, especially). Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase - which is my first from Moosejaw.
"Who has legs this long?" 10/01/11
The product is great and was shipped super fast, however, North Face, what the heck? I'm 5'5 and I got an extra large to make sure they were loose enough to hike dunes in, and they are waaaaay to long. I'm talking like, 9 inches too long. And extra large short is not available, and these pants are so long I think even a short would be too much, so I'm going to hem them myself instead of exchanging. Great material, received them super fast, but seriously, no chick has legs this long.

This is the second pair of these pants i have purchased.They are super comfortable and warm.I have warn then by them self and have layered them in extremely cold conditions.Practicality aside they look great as well.Its hard to find track pants that are flattering but these are not bad at all.I am about 5 1 and purchased the short xs and they are perfect.

I like these pants,But I will have to shorten them. I am only 5'1'' and needed to buy a med. to feel comfortable. I am also planing on wearing them under hiking pants, so I am glad they arn't bulky.They are nice and warm, (as it is still winter this April in Michigan.)
"Awesome Pants!" 03/30/11
I bought several pairs of these pants last season, and wear them all the time. However, I noticed that the fleece was looking a little worn in the knee area, so I decided to get another pair in black this season. I'm so glad I did. This new fleece seems to be more durable and thicker, yet still feels lightweight and is easy to move in. After wearing it all day, the fleece doesn't look matted down or worn in the knees like the older style does. The pants maintain their shape well and hold up to frequent washings. I'm pleased with these updated pants and highly recommend them!

5 Antlers Up and a big moose noise for these pantaloons! I put 'em on straight out of the envelope and I'm sittin' pretty as I write this. I'm about 5'3" and weigh around 135 and the small fits me perfectly. You can really feel the warmth from the polarfleece stuff and I can't wait to wear them to bed tonight to really test them in the dark! Wooo hoooo! It's a chilly wet winter in California, so I'll be prone in the zone and feeling the love for sure. Get them. Don't search any further. You will like them, savvy?
