Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have for any backcountry travel - lightweight, dries quick, good for chilly mornings/evenings I am writing this review as a WFR on a SAR team out of New Mexico. Up in NM's higher elevations the evenings/mornings are downright chilly and this is the go to pullover of choice to get the mornings rocking or sitting around the campfire chillin. I love this particular product so much I own five different colors (Orange Twist, Weimaraner Brown, Conifer Green, Mojito Green, and Famenco Blue). Offers the warmth I need for being as lightweight as it is, is a very breathable material and dries quick. The material is study after several seasons and colors hold up well. Of course the Mojito Green is PERFECT for drinking Guiness on St. Paddy's Day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfy and versatile I LOVE this shirt! It's so soft and comfy that I want to wear it everywhere--and, because it's so sleek and comes in such attractive colors, I CAN wear it almost anywhere: on my adventures in the great outdoors; traveling in the city; shopping at the grocery store or mall; heading out to the movies with friends. Granted, I still haven't figured out how to work it into my work wardrobe (suits, nylons, and heels for me), but dare to dream. One day! :) Beyond that, it's not threadbare, but it's a thin, lightweight fabric. Therefore, it's okay for cool days, but you'll need to layer lots and lots for cold days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, comfy, and stylish I love the Glacier because it is SO soft and comfy! It's very lightweight but does a good job of keeping you decently warm. I wear it with a long-sleeve tee underneath on warmer days and underneath the Kimber on cooler days. The only downside to this top is that it's really baggy around the waist. I bought an XS and could literally slide a volleyball underneath the bottom of this shirt while I'm wearing it. (Maybe this is TNF's new maternity line?) It doesn't look sloppy by any means, but, if you're looking for something a bit more fitted, I recommend the Kimber instead. It's still relatively lightweight--albeit not as soft as the Glacier--and has a great silhouette.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, Affordable and well crafted piece of NorthFace clothing. Bought this sweatshirt as a gift to my wife for Christmas. When I had originally looked for a warm long sleeve shirt for her I was looking for something with Monkey Thumb holes. After receiving the shirt, they in fact did not have them as advertised. Still a great sweatshirt. She loved it and wears it constantly. My wife doesnt like to wear coats or bulky warm gear, so this was a great gift. Delivery actually was quicker than promised which was a plus especially during the holiday season. Once again, great job NorthFace and once again awesome and thank you to Moosejaw. I will for sure be a repeat customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Once again a great North Face product! I just got this fleece last weekend and am already loving it! The material is really high quality and washes up really nice. After reading the reviews and debating between the small and medium I decided to go with the small, which I'm glad I did. It fits great but is just slightly "tent-like" at the bottom, which I think would have only been worse had I got the medium. However, if you plan on wearing lots of layers underneath I would go up a size. Also, I will say that it's not quite as long as it looks in the picture, but definitely not too short either. Overall a great addition to my winter wardrobe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty This top is awesome.Very warm on cold nippy days in San Francisco.Haven't tested this in windy situations but on days like those I'll likely have a jacket with me. ,,Cons,,>No pockets! Really wish there are pockets. Even a kangaroo or sleeve pocket would be nice for small lightweight things (think keys)>This thing doesn't absorb moisture well. On a casual bike ride my back was sweaty but the sweat really had no where to go.>Maybe it is due to the heat trapping technology but it tends to pickup/traps odor. I may be talking about BO, but the shirt holds on to deodorant scents and it even picked up someone's perfume when I gave a hug. Prob wont use for activities that requires sweating,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SOFT and lightweight I've always wanted a fleece! The Weimaraner Brown color is exceedingly odd, sort of gray-brown-sage green color. It's not going to set off my lovely brown eyes but it still looks great and is a fairly neutral color that will work well in the dusty camp of an archaeology dig this summer. The fit: I am 5'6" with a long, slimmish torso. The torso and arm lengths are a little short. I prefer things to sit a little long. Maybe this is how fleeces are? Perhaps for my desired length I should have ordered up a size, but then I think it would fit a little too big around the torso. It's snug right now but went fine over a 3/4 length shirt. Overall, soft and lightweight, it's another North Face win!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but not the most flattering After reading the other reviews, I have to say I'm not as 'in love'. My sister got this for me for Christmas and I normally wear a medium but she got me a large. The bottom fits bad but that could be due to the size. I am 5'8'' 140 lbs and it makes me look really wide. It flares out in a very unflattering way you wouldn't expect from a fleece . After wearing it under layers snowmobiling this week, I have grown fonder of it. I am disappointed to say I probably won't wear this out in public due to the poor fit. If comfort is what you're looking for though, it has a nice light-weight fleecy feel.
