I love the sleek, classy look of the The North Face Women's Suzanne Triclimate Trench. I also like the versatility and technical advantages (like 550-fill down and waterproof HyVent® exterior), but for an urban jacket I start with appearances. The outer shell is completely waterproof/windproof and is great for keeping out the rain and annoying wind gusts. The insulating layer is stuffed with down for unsurpassed warmth with minimal bulk. Together they'll get you through the coldest winter with a smart, clean look. Speaking of smart, the hood is removable and reverses to a down hood, so it can be attached to the either the shell or the liner.

DECENT FEATURES of The North Face Women's Suzanne Triclimate Trench

  • Outer Jacket: Adjustable and removable hood that reverses to a down hood and zips onto both liner and outer jackets
  • Center front zip and snap-down storm flap closure
  • Internal media pocket
  • Two zip hand pockets
  • Embroidered logo at left cuff and back right shoulder
  • Metal logo rivet at bicep
  • Liner Jacket: Quilted through body
  • Zip hand pockets
  • Embroidered logo on left cuff and back right shoulder

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely LOVE this jacket! I love this jacket! It is well worth the money. I love that you have 3 options when wearing this. I had the Metropolis Parka before purchasing this jacket and didn't think I would ever love another jacket as much as my Metropolis. Well I was wrong! This jacket is so warm and it looks great on. Very sliming and stylish. I normally wear a small in North Face and this jacket fits true to size. I'm 5'3 120 lbs and the small fits great. ,,You will not be disappointed in this jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic looking and does a great job keeping me warm I'm 5'3 and 130 lbs, typically a size 6. Medium fitted well though the sleeves are a tiny bit long. Contrast between the silver down and the outer Navy coat looks great. I lived in the tropics and is not used to the cold. This jacket kept me warm during my recent trip to a ski resort. Walk into a shop the first time I wore this and the shop assistant commented that it's a very nice jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All together is a perfect jacket for the rainy and cold seasons. All together is a perfect jacket for the rainy and cold seasons. Almost knee-length, the jacket is comfortable and slimming. The liner jacket alone is pretty soft, warm, really light and water repellent. The outer jacket is truly water resistant. Both of them (outer and liner) well cut with good fit. Kind of expensive but for a 3-1 jacket it is not.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Impressed For a coat that costs almost $500, I expected to be more wowed. Both layers are extremely thin in my opinion. I know the latest trend in coats is to have down warmth with less bulk, but this doesn't cut it for me. Even though it is 600 fill and 75% down, it is lacking in insulation. The positive is that the outer layer will help keep the heat in and wind out, but not enough IMO. I justified spending this much money with the fact that it's actually 2 coats, but I don't see that I would ever wear just one because of how thin they are. In addition to poor function, it is lacking in pockets. Each coat only has 2 pockets. No inside pocket, no arm pocket... And then there's the metal NF square that's on the arm - I can see that getting caught on something and ripping the coat. What's the point?! I'd rather have another pocket instead of a piece of metal! Seems that the cost is more for the name than the function. NOT IMPRESSED!!!
