"My other jackets are jealous" 03/05/12
I am extremely satisfied with this jacket! I have had issues in the past where the elastic around the wrists of fleece jackets is annoyingly tight and that is not the case here. Very comfortable all around and its so soft that I wish there were matching underwear available. The only warning i feel that i must give: If random people asking if they can feel you makes you uncomfortable do not wear this jacket in public (I personally think its kinda fun)
"Neck flaps are huge when open!" 02/02/12
I bought this jacket for casual wear- not for sports or anything like that. Although the actual jacket is great- warm, great color, well made, etc... I think when the jacket is worn unzipped or only half zipped, with a tank underneath, it looks kind of stupid. This is because the neck flaps are huge when unzipped and it looks like serious 70's track jacket or something. Bottom line is that this is great if worn all the way zipped up, like if your outdoors and want protection from the cold, but not so cool for casual half zipped wear.
"Like it, but will get the standard North Face Jacket next time." 03/12/11
I really really like the Jacket. It is supper soft & it is cute. It is more fitted then most North Face jackets. The neck is really big, so if I leave the jacket unzipped I have a zoot-suit kind of thing going on. & I have a short torso, so the flare on the bottom that is supposed to hit the hips hangs a little below them. That all being said I do like the jacket and will be wearing it all the time.
"Perfect For Whatever" 02/04/11
This coat is a staple piece for any woman's wardrobe. It matches everything, is lightweight and warm at the same time. And it makes you look awesome. Guys will be drawn to you if you wear this. You will have a certain animal magneticism. Who wouldn't want this coat? There is a reason it is so popular. This is my 3rd one. It is super soft. Get one in every color.
"Great when zipped, not so much when left open." 01/30/11
I bought this jacket without seeing any pictures of it open. What a different look with the jacket open! The top/front portion is angled so as to sit very high up and act as a scarf. Great concept! Until you unzip it and want to wear it open. The collar flares open a la 1970s. This I was a little disappointed about because I will not be rocking the 70s look. So I can wear it two ways: zipped all the way up, comfy cozy style, or unzipped an inch or two for a little more chin freedom. I like it enough these two ways to keep it and wear layered with other pieces when its pretty cold out.
"Super-soft mid-weight zip-up!" 01/06/11
Enough with the dashes. This jacket is made out of a really soft velour-like material. Fits great in the body and arms...not too short. If you fully zip up the neck, it protects you like a scarf would. I haven't used this in the spring or fall yet, but it seems like it would be somewhat wind-proof. This jacket is not thin, but mid-weight. The graphite color is really nice!
"Not as frumpy as most North Face Fleeces" 01/04/11
Nice girl-friendly fit. Probably a little less warm than the Denali but still very warm. The pic does make it look like the logo is a different color than the fleece...but it's actually the same color as the fleece...black, in my case.
"This is super cute and fun, a little lightweight for the price though..." 12/12/10
I was looking for a new NF fleece and wanted one that wasn't black, ended up getting this one after trying on every coat in the store over a period of 2 days (I am pretty sure the guys that work there think I am a crazy stalker) It is super super soft kind of like the Osito jacket but way less bulky, more subdued and not all furry. Also the collar is angled forward and out so that you can zip it up over your face and when it's unzipped it's kind of winged out and wide looking. I feel like the collar makes it stand out a little more than the regular fleece jacket. The only bad part about it is that it was fairly expensive for being such a lightweight jacket in the middle of winter?
"Not Worth The Money" 10/05/10
I love northface jackets, and was so excited to see this one online. after receiving it in the mail i pulled it out and found a very thin material.... not what i expected at all. it would be a great jacket for about 80, but the 120 is way to much for something this thin, for sure something i could not wear in the late fall weather.
